Grab Holdings (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/GRAB#NASDAQ">GRAB</a>) collaborated with four <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/topic/autonomous-vehicles" rel="noreferrer noopener">autonomous technology companies</a> from China, the U.S., and South Korea to explore self-driving solutions for its mobility and delivery services<a target="_blank" href="https://www.grab.com/sg/press/others/grab-partners-with-autonomous-technology-companies-to-assess-impact-of-autonomous-vehicles-in-southeast-asia/" rel="noreferrer noopener"> across Southeast Asia</a>.
The Singapore ride-hailing company inked a memorandum of understanding with China&#8217;s WeRide Inc (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/WRD#NASDAQ">WRD</a>) and Zelos, Boston&#8217;s Motional, and South Korea&#8217;s&nbsp;Autonomous A2Z.
Grab said it would assess various delivery and mobility services technologies, such as shuttles, buses, and cars.

Co-founder and CEO Anthony Tan noted autonomous vehicle technology&#8217;s impact on Southeast Asia&#8217;s transportation landscape remains largely unexplored.
Grab Holdings&nbsp;reported <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/earnings/25/02/43853508/grab-q4-on-demand-incentives-grow-due-to-competition-issues-cautious-fy25-outlook-despite-strong-gmv-and-user-growth" rel="noreferrer noopener">fourth-quarter&nbsp;fiscal 2024</a> revenue growth of 17% to $764.00 million, beating the&nbsp;consensus of $757.61 million.&nbsp;
EPS of $0.01 beat the&nbsp;consensus loss of $(0.01).
Grab projected fiscal 2025 revenue of $3.33 billion–$3.40 billion versus&nbsp;a consensus of $3.398 billion, implying caution around a Southeast Asian ride-hailing and food delivery market.

Shares of auto-related companies are trading lower amid overall market uncertainty after President Trump confirmed March 4 tariffs.

WeRide Inc (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/WRD#NASDAQ">WRD</a>) announced the first European fully autonomous&nbsp;commercial <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com//node/44030953" rel="noreferrer noopener">deployment of its Robobus</a> as part of a shuttle service collaboration with beti, Renault Group, and Macif.
This initiative brings an L4-level automated mobility solution to the Drôme area in France. The shuttle service will operate on open roads alongside mixed traffic, offering adaptable and eco-friendly transportation alternatives.
The Robobus will operate on a 3.3-kilometer route, with stops at the Valence TGV station, long-term parking, a business park's catering hub, and a group of 150 companies.

&#8220;Our collaboration with beti allows us to execute our inaugural commercial Robobus deployment in Europe, utilizing our proven track record in the Chinese, Singaporean, and Middle Eastern markets, and ultimately reinforcing our position as a global leader in L4 autonomous driving deployment and commercialization,&#8221; said CFO and Head of International Business, Jennifer Li.
Beginning March 10, Beti Automated Mobility will launch the service with a fleet of six-meter-long Robobuses, each capable of carrying up to eight passengers.
Benjamin Beaudet, CEO of beti, emphasized that the company's "hypervision" solution will add an additional layer of safety, ensuring continuous enhancements to the automated driving technology.
The trial period will run from March 10 to April 19, operating under real passenger transport conditions. This phase aims to test the technology&#8217;s efficiency and safety, before the service fully launches in July.
The service will serve several key functions, such as connecting the train station with nearby companies, providing a low-carbon transport alternative, and facilitating connections between employees and the business park's catering hub.

WeRide will provide its L4-level autonomous technology for a passenger transport service on open roads in mixed traffic, with several six-meter-long robobuses, each able to carry eight passengers, operated by beti Automated Mobility. Beti Automated Mobility will begin operations on March 10, at the Rovaltain business park – Valence TGV station in Drôme.
