WeRide Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/WRD#NASDAQ">WRD</a>), a global leader in autonomous driving technology, is the technology provider for an innovative new autonomous driving pilot project in Switzerland. This project is funded by the Canton of Zurich and Swiss national railway Schweizerische Bundesbahnen (SBB) and managed by the Swiss Transit Lab (STL), with WeRide providing products and operational support. The decision demonstrates WeRide's leading L4 autonomous driving technology and operational experience has again been recognized by the international market.
During the test phase, two autonomous cars with WeRide technology will be in service. When operations start, which is expected in the second quarter, up to four cars will be deployed. Fully unmanned mode will operate for up to five years. In 2026, the fleet is expected to expand with eight additional autonomous vehicles, with further expansion in future.
The first automated vehicles will operate in Switzerland's Furttal Region. Residents will be able to book the autonomous vehicles by an app supplied by ioki.

Shares of several companies in the auto and auto-related space are trading lower amid overall market weakness following the Fed's rate decision to cut rates by 25 basis points

On CNBC's &#8220;<a href="https://www.cnbc.com/video/2024/12/12/final-trades-cisco-kkr-co-dominion-energy-and-uber.html">Halftime Report Final Trades</a>,&#8221; Joshua Brown of Ritholtz Wealth Management picked Uber Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/UBER#NYSE">UBER</a>) as <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/24/11/42045056/cisco-brings-ai-and-automation-to-mgm-resorts-with-55-year-portfolio-pact">his final trade.</a>
On Dec. 6, Uber and Chinese Robotaxi company WeRide Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/WRD#NASDAQ">WRD</a>) announced the launch of their ride-hailing partnership in Abu Dhabi. Jim Lebenthal of Cerity Partners named Cisco Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/CSCO#NASDAQ">CSCO</a>) 
On Nov. 18, Cisco Systems, inked a 5.5-year Whole Portfolio Agreement (WPA) with MGM Resorts International (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/MGM#NYSE">MGM</a>), granting MGM access to Cisco's software portfolio. The portfolio includes cybersecurity, software-defined networking, WAN, digital experience assurance, and data center services.
Jason Snipe of Odyssey Capital Advisors said he likes KKR &amp; Co. Inc. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/KKR#NYSE">KKR</a>).
On Thursday, Wells Fargo analyst Michael Brown maintained KKR with an Equal-Weight and raised the price target from $152 to $163, while Oppenheimer analyst Chris Kotowski maintained the stock with an Outperform and increased the price target from $153 to $175.
Jenny Van Leeuwen Harrington of Gilman Hill Asset Management, LLC said Dominion Energy, Inc. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/D#NYSE">D</a>) took off like a rocket earlier in the year but now faded, so you can get back in with a 5% yield.
Scotiabank analyst Andrew Weisel maintained Dominion Energy with a Sector Perform and raised the price target from $58 to $61.

Uber, Cisco, KKR And More On CNBC's 'Final Trades'

Innoviz Technologies Secures LiDAR Supply Deal With Mobileye

On Friday, U.S. ride-hailing giant Uber Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/UBER#NYSE">UBER</a>) and Chinese Robotaxi company WeRide&nbsp;Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/WRD#NASDAQ">WRD</a>) announced the launch of their ride-hailing&nbsp;<a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/24/12/b42358254/uber-and-weride-launch-autonomous-mobility-service-in-abu-dhabi" rel="noreferrer noopener">partnership&nbsp;in Abu Dhabi</a>.
The launch represents the first time autonomous vehicles (AVs) are available on the Uber platform outside the U.S. and the largest commercial robotaxi service outside the U.S. and China.
UAE national transport company Tawasul Transport will act as the fleet operator.

Now, Uber riders in Abu Dhabi requesting UberX or Uber Comfort can qualify for a WeRide AV ride.
The service will be available in key areas between Saadiyat Island and Yas Island and routes to and from Zayed International Airport. The plan is to expand the operating territory in the future.
At the initial launch, each AV will have a safety operator present to ensure a secure and reliable experience, targeting a fully driverless commercial service planned for later in 2025.

Uber And WeRide Launch Largest Commercial Robotaxi Service Outside U.S. And China In Abu Dhabi

On Saturday, Baidu, Inc (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/BIDU#NASDAQ">BIDU</a>) obtained a Hong Kong&nbsp;license&nbsp;to test <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/topic/autonomous-vehicles" rel="noreferrer noopener">autonomous vehicles</a> in the city. This is the government&#8217;s first pilot license since the launch of new legislation in March 2024.
The license, valid from December 9, 2024, to December 8, 2029, permits only one self-driving car to operate on specified road sections at a time in its first phase, marking the company&#8217;s attempts to expand its autonomous vehicle technology beyond China, Reuters reports.

Pony AI Gears Up For $4.48B Valuation In US IPO Amid Autonomous Vehicle Boom

Shares of PROCEPT BioRobotics Corporation (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/PRCT#NASDAQ">PRCT</a>) rose sharply during Monday's session after the company reported better-than-expected third-quarter financial results and raised its <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/PRCT/earnings">FY24 revenue guidance</a>.
PROCEPT BioRobotics shares jumped 25% to $85.87 on Monday.

<li>EyePoint Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/EYPT#NASDAQ">EYPT</a>) gained 33.6% to $12.69 after the company showed early trial data for DURAVYU for diabetic macular edema and announced improving vision and anatomy.</li>
<li>Revance Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/RVNC#NASDAQ">RVNC</a>) shares gained 25.5% to $5.89 after the company announced it entered into the sixth amendment to its exclusive distribution agreement with Teoxane.</li>
<li>ImmunityBio, Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/IBRX#NASDAQ">IBRX</a>) gained 19.5% to $6.36.</li>
<li>Trump Media &amp; Technology Group Corp. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/DJT#NASDAQ">DJT</a>) rose 15.3% to $44.91. The stock may be moving amid possible volatility as traders evaluate his chance of winning the 2024 presidential election.</li>
<li>Prothena Corporation plc (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/PRTA#NASDAQ">PRTA</a>) surged 15.3% to $17.66.</li>
<li>Serve Robotics Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/SERV#NASDAQ">SERV</a>) gained 13.8% to $11.09. Ladenburg Thalmann analyst Glenn Mattson initiated coverage on Serve Robotics with a Buy rating and announced a price target of $16.</li>
<li>Vera Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/VERA#NASDAQ">VERA</a>) rose 12.1% to $46.05 after the company reported 96-week eGFR stabilization on Saturday for its Phase 2b study of IgAN patients with Atacicept.</li>
<li>MINISO Group Holding Limited (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/MNSO#NASDAQ">MNSO</a>) gained 10.3% to $19.21.</li>
<li>TeraWulf Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/WULF#NASDAQ">WULF</a>) rose 10.2% to $7.03.</li>

<li>Newell Brands Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/NWL#NASDAQ">NWL</a>) rose 8.3% to $9.45. Canaccord Genuity analyst Brian McNamara maintained Newell Brands with a Buy and raised the price target from $12 to $13.</li>
<li>MicroStrategy Incorporated (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/MSTR#NASDAQ">MSTR</a>) gained 7% to $251.00 amid a rise in Bitcoin.</li>
