The shortened week brought central bank heads to Europe, where the European Central Bank hosted its annual forum in Sintra, Portugal. Discussing the topic of macroeconomic shifts and policy responses, Bank of Japan&#8217;s Governor Kazuo Ueda noted that the underlying inflation was slightly below the central bank&#8217;s 2% target.
Clarifying the situation, Ueda pointed to three components that define inflation dynamics—demand-driven price rises, cyclical components such as U.S. tariffs, and domestic supply shocks. Ueda, whose five-year term ends in 2028, said that the much-anticipated additional rate hikes will depend on &#8220;the relative strength of the three dynamics.&#8221;
Meanwhile, his US counterpart, Jerome Powell, drew criticism for a $2.5 billion bill for <a href="https://nypost.com/2025/07/01/opinion/powells-2-5b-fed-revamp-denial-exposes-his-privileged-arrogance/">renovating the central bank&#8217;s Washington headquarters.</a> The work began in 2021, with an estimated cost of $1.9 billion, before costs soared by more than 30%. Multiple parties, including House Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan, have stated that the matter will be investigated. President Donald Trump, who has openly clashed with Powell over the interest rate policy, has called for his resignation. If that were to occur, the impact on the market would be considerable.
While the week ahead is light on news, it also brings Trump&#8217;s tariff deadline of July 9. Thus, market volatility could be considerable.

The <a href="https://singaporeforexclub.com/forex-charts-for-beginners">forex chart</a> above shows that a clean break and close on the daily chart would signal a potential run at new lows, with a first stop at support at 0.87850. A rate cut from the Reserve Bank of Australia on Tuesday could be the catalyst for this trade.
<h3 class="wp-block-heading">2. NZD CHF</h3>
The Swiss franc has been one of the best-performing currencies in 2025, owing to its stability and long-standing association with gold. Its advance against the New Zealand dollar has been a multi-month trend, with a prolonged ranging period in May and early June, which has eventually broken to the downside.

Zooming into the H4 chart, any sudden pullbacks above 0.48130, to 0.48300 could be sold with a good price action. The first stop to the downside is around 0.47715, while yearly lows are around 0.46380.

<li>AUD NZD: Ranging around the key level of 1.08180. There is no clear trend, although the bias is slightly bearish.</li>
<li>AUD CHF: Remains in a bearish trend. The pullback has finished in early June, and only a fundamental catalyst could reverse the trend.</li>
<li>AUD JPY:  Price hit a key level at 95.250, but it failed to clearly close above it. As long as that resistance remains in place, the ranging price action can continue.</li>
<li>AUD SGD: Slightly rallied, but failed to make a decisive bullish move. Remains in a range.</li>
<li>CHF JPY:  Reached and exceeded the long-standing 180 target and made a new all-time high—no signs of a pullback.</li>
<li>CAD JPY: Indecisive price action continues. A rally brought it to a 107.05 key level but failed to clear it. A deeper pullback is possible, particularly given the risks associated with tariffs.</li>
<li>EUR AUD: Remains in a bullish trend, and further weakness could propel it towards highs from early April.</li>
<li>EUR/JPY: Pushed to yet another high. A bullish trend could use a breather, but the long-term target, a high from a year ago, is around 175.</li>
<li>EUR NZD: Remains in a strong bullish trend, eyeing the high from early April around 1.99500.</li>
<li>GBP AUD: Overall bullish, but short-term price action is ranging around a key level of 2.08430.</li>
<li>GBP JPY: A pullback has established a potential higher low, meaning that the uptrend might still be in play. The key level above is at 199.700.</li>
<li>GBP NZD: Failed to break higher and surpass a high from May. A key level to observe is 2.25100.</li>

U.S. stock futures were mixed this morning, with the Dow futures gaining around 0.1% on Monday.
Shares of Tesla, Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/TSLA#NASDAQ">TSLA</a>) fell sharply in today's pre-market trading in response to CEO Elon Musk's re-entry into the political landscape amid his ongoing dispute with President Donald Trump over the <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/tech/25/07/46267743/tesla-shares-fall-over-5-in-overnight-trading-as-elon-musk-jumps-back-into-politics">contentious "Big, Beautiful Bill.</a>"
The decline follows Musk's announcement of the formation of a new political party, in response to the Senate's approval of the "Big, Beautiful Bill." This bill has eliminated the $7500 EV credit and rendered the Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) credits, a significant revenue source for Tesla, effectively obsolete.

(NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/CAG#NYSE">CAG</a>) gears up to unveil its fourth-quarter <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/CAG/earnings">earnings on July 10</a>, all eyes are on whether the food giant can maintain its profitability amid shifting market dynamics and a declining revenue forecast—while investors weigh the allure of a tempting dividend yield that could reshape their portfolios.
Analysts expect the company to report quarterly earnings of 61 cents per share, in line with the 61 cents per share reported in the year-ago period. Conagra Brands is projected to report quarterly revenue of $2.88 billion, compared to $2.91 billion a year earlier, according to data from <a href="https://pro.benzinga.com/dashboard">Benzinga Pro</a>.
On July 2, Morgan Stanley analyst Megan Alexander maintained a Conagra Brands rating of Equal Weight and lowered the price target from $27 to $22.
With the recent buzz around Conagra Brands, some investors may also be eyeing potential gains from the company's dividends. As of now, Conagra Brands offers an annual dividend yield of 6.67%, which is a quarterly dividend amount of 35 cents per share ($1.40 a year).  
So, how can investors capitalize on its dividend yield to earn a regular $500 monthly?
To earn $500 per month or $6,000 annually from dividends alone, you would need an investment of approximately $89,963 or around 4,286 shares. For a more modest $100 per month or $1,200 per year, you would need $17,988 or around 857 shares.
To calculate: Divide the desired annual income ($6,000 or $1,200) by the dividend ($1.40 in this case). So, $6,000 / $1.40 = 4,286 ($500 per month), and $1,200 / $1.40 = 857 shares ($100 per month).
Note that dividend yield can change on a rolling basis, as the dividend payment and the stock price both fluctuate over time.
How that works: The dividend yield is computed by dividing the annual dividend payment by the stock&#8217;s current price.
For example, if a stock pays an annual dividend of $2 and is currently priced at $50, the dividend yield would be 4% ($2/$50). However, if the stock price increases to $60, the dividend yield drops to 3.33% ($2/$60). Conversely, if the stock price falls to $40, the dividend yield rises to 5% ($2/$40).
Similarly, changes in the dividend payment can impact the yield. If a company increases its dividend, the yield will also increase, provided the stock price stays the same. Conversely, if the dividend payment decreases, so will the yield.

Moog will expand its existing Space and Defense component portfolio through the integration of COTSWORKS technologies. Moog Acquires COTSWORKS For $63M To Boost Aerospace And Defense Fiber Optics Capabilities

Aris Mining Corporation (Aris Mining) (TSX:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/ARIS#TSX">ARIS</a>) (NYSE-A: ARMN) and McFarlane Lake Mining Limited (McFarlane) (CSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/MLM#CSE">MLM</a>) (OTC:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/MLMLF#OTC">MLMLF</a>) are pleased to announce the signing of a definitive asset purchase agreement (the Agreement) for the sale of Aris Mining's Juby Gold Project and related interests in Ontario, Canada. The total consideration is valued at US$22 million, payable as outlined below.
The Juby Gold Project is an exploration-stage gold project located in the Shining Tree area of Ontario's Abitibi greenstone belt. The transaction includes Aris Mining's 100% interest in the Juby Gold Project and its 25% joint venture interest in the adjacent Knight property.
Under the terms of the Agreement, Aris Mining will receive total consideration of US$22 million, comprised of:
<ul>
<li>US$10 million in cash, payable on closing; &nbsp;</li>
<li>common shares of McFarlane, representing the balance of the consideration payable up to a maximum of 19.9% of its post-financing share capital, issued at the price of McFarlane's concurrent equity financing, and issuable on closing; and &nbsp;</li>
<li>an additional payment, if required to reach the total US$22 million purchase price, payable within 12 months of closing in either cash or additional shares (subject to Aris Mining holding in aggregate no more than 19.9% of McFarlane's share capital), at McFarlane's option.</li>
</ul>
Completion of the transaction is conditional on McFarlane raising at least US$10 million in gross proceeds from a concurrent financing and other customary closing conditions, including required regulatory and third-party approvals, with the transaction expected to close within 90 days. Aris Mining will&nbsp;hold a first-ranking security interest over the Juby Gold Project until full payment of the purchase price is received.
