Datadog (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/DDOG#NASDAQ">DDOG</a>) is an SaaS data analysis darling from a previous bull market, but it's once again making noise following a 58% gain over the last three months. The company reported record revenue of $762 million in Q1 2025, representing year-over-year (YOY) growth of more than 24%. This impressive growth is why Datadog's Benzinga Edge Growth score is 96.01, the highest of any entry on our list today.

An uptrend that began in April has finally brought the stock price back over the 50-day and 200-day moving averages, a gain of more than 60% in just three months. While it might be tempting to take profits here, the appearance of a Golden Cross and the Relative Strength Index (RSI) retreating under 70 indicates that more upside could be on the horizon.
<h2 class="wp-block-heading">NXP Semiconductors NV&nbsp;</h2>
Semiconductor stocks have led this market rally, driven by seemingly endless demand for AI capital expenditures. While NVDA and AMD dominate most chip headlines, NXP (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/NXPI#NASDAQ">NXPI</a>) has been quietly demonstrating solid growth, consistently beating analyst expectations. The company reported earnings on Monday, and while revenue growth slowed YOY, EPS and revenue results both bested expectations. The Q3 revenue guidance of $3.15 billion prompted analysts at Cantor Fitzgerald and Needham &amp; Company to raise their price targets to $250, suggesting potential future upside of more than 10% from current levels.

NXPI shares have been steadily grinding upward since late April, but only recently have bullish patterns begun to emerge on the stock chart. The price didn't break above the 200-day MA until late May, and now a Golden Cross has triggered a significant volume spike of buyers. <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Northrop Grumman Corp.&nbsp;</h2>
Defense conglomerate Northrop Grumman (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/NOC#NYSE">NOC</a>) is riding fundamental and technical tailwinds as it seeks to break out of a tight range. The company reported earnings on Tuesday, July 22, and while it posted a slight miss on both EPS and revenue, the full-year guidance figures grabbed investors' attention, and the stock finished the day up over 9%. Compared to Lockheed Martin Corp (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/LMT#NYSE">LMT</a>), which dropped more than 10% following earnings, Northrop appears to be in the driver's seat for large-cap defense contractors.

NOC shares were already up 10% year-to-date (YTD) before this earnings release, but the path to this gain has been anything but straightforward. The stock gyrated around the 50- and 200-day MAs for most of May and June before finally breaking both levels at the start of July. The MACD confirmed this uptrend, and with a Golden Cross triggering a large post-earnings move, this stock could surge higher in the next few sessions. The Benzinga Edge Growth score of 88.60 also indicates more upside ahead.
<h2 class="wp-block-heading">United Rentals Inc.&nbsp;</h2>
The largest equipment rental supplier in the country, United Rentals (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/URI#NYSE">URI</a>), reports earnings after the market close on Wednesday, and is looking to build on last quarter's report that saw revenue growth of 6% YOY and strong margins of 45%. The adjusted EBITDA of $1.7 billion was also a record for United Rentals.

The chart is sending some conflicting information about the next move after earnings, but we continue to lean bullish based on recent trends. The stock formed a Golden Cross earlier this month, although this resulted in the RSI spiking over 70, and investors took profits following the post-tariff runup from April. But now that the RSI is comfortably back under 70 with the stock price still firmly above the 50-day and 200-day MAs, any upside earnings surprise will likely trigger another wave of bullish activity.
<h2 class="wp-block-heading">AMETEK Inc.&nbsp;</h2>
AMETEK (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/AME#NYSE">AME</a>) is a large-cap industrial firm that's undergone more transformations than a Decepticon. The company planted its roots as a metal and machine shop in 1930 in the Philadelphia suburb of Berwyn and has since evolved into a conglomerate of 40 different industrial businesses, specializing in electronic parts and automated systems. AMETEK went shopping again this month, acquiring FARO Technologies in an <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/m-a/25/07/46430120/faro-shareholders-approve-proposed-merger-with-ametek">all-cash deal worth $920 million</a> and adding it to the Ultra Precision Technologies Division. FARO focuses on 3D imaging and measurement, which has been a key area of focus for AMETEK following its acquisitions of Virtek and Creaform. The stock is down 1.5% YTD, but up over 14% in the last three months, and the daily chart shows a distinct area of interest.

However, the consolidation could be coming to an end now that a Golden Cross has formed, and the RSI indicates an upswing would have plenty of room to run. 5 High-Momentum Stocks With A 'Golden Cross' Buy Signal

Shares of NXP Semiconductors NV (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/NXPI#NASDAQ">NXPI</a>) tanked in early trading on Wednesday, despite the company reporting <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/earnings/25/07/46532652/nxp-semiconductors-q2-earnings-revenue-eps-beat-estimates-company-highlights-emerging-cyclical-improvement-in-core-end-markets">upbeat second-quarter results</a>.

Truist Securities: NXP Semiconductors reported solid results for the second quarter, with sales of $2,926 million beating consensus of $2,902 million, with the beat driven by end markets, Stein said in a note. The company's gross margins and earnings of 56.5% and $2.72 per share also came in higher than the consensus, he added.
Management guided to sales of $3.15 billion at the midpoint, above consensus of $3.078 billion, the analyst stated. "It&#8217;s a recovery, but it feels more like the end of an inventory burn than a big ramp in end demand," he further wrote.
Needham: NXP Semiconductors delivered a beat-and-raise quarter, with cyclical recovery continuing to ramp, Bolton said. Management guided to sequential growth of 8% for the third quarter and normal seasonality in the fourth quarter, he added.
The company projected mid-single-digit growth in the Automotive segment and high-single-digit growth in the Industrial &amp; IoT for the third quarter, the analyst stated. "NXPI experienced no material pull-ins or push-outs due to tariffs and direct impact of tariffs remain immaterial," he further wrote.

NXPI stock has given up its prior loss. NXP Semiconductors shares were trading lower following Q2 reported financial results.

Following its second-quarter results reported on Monday, NXP Semiconductors (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/NXPI#NASDAQ">NXPI</a>) has seen its outlook reassessed by Wall Street analysts. 
The company announced <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/earnings/25/07/46532652/nxp-semiconductors-q2-earnings-revenue-eps-beat-estimates-company-highlights-emerging-cyclical-improvement-in-core-end-markets">second-quarter revenue</a> of $2.93 billion, a 6% decrease year-over-year, yet still surpassing analyst estimates of $2.90 billion. 
Looking ahead, NXP anticipates third-quarter revenue to range from $3.05 billion to $3.25 billion, versus estimates of $3.05 billion.

Cantor Fitzgerald analyst Matthew Prisco reiterated an Overweight rating on NXP Semiconductors, maintaining <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/NXPI/analyst-ratings">a $250 price forecast</a>. Meanwhile, Stifel analyst Tore Svanberg maintained a Hold rating on the company, while increasing his price forecast from $170 to $210.
<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Cantor Fitzgerald&#8217;s Analysis</h2>
Prisco noted that NXP Semiconductors delivered a modest beat-and-raise quarter, driven by strong performance in the Industrial IoT segment. While the analyst would have preferred the upside from automotive, management guided for continued strength based on a cyclical recovery in core end markets and company-specific growth catalysts.
He noted that gross margins came in slightly above expectations due to more substantial revenue, while operating expenses ran higher than expected, primarily due to merger and acquisition activity. However, operating expenses aligned with NXP Semiconductors&#8217; long-term intensity targets when adjusted for the elevated revenue levels.
Prisco noted that the company also showed encouraging inventory management. Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO) dropped by 11 days quarter-over-quarter to 158, and channel inventory remained stable at nine weeks, below the target of eleven weeks, indicating results were likely driven by genuine end-market demand rather than inventory builds.
That said, there were a few points of contention, as per the analyst. The gross margin guidance came in a bit softer than previously implied; at $3.15 billion in revenue, gross margin should have been closer to 57.5% based on prior comments, he said. In addition, operating margin guidance was pressured by M&amp;A-related costs, slightly muting the leverage typically expected during an upcycle.
Heading into the earnings call, Prisco remained focused on the quality and sustainability of this beat and raise. While the near-term performance may be weighed down by NXP Semiconductors&#8217; exposure to the auto sector, the analyst remained optimistic about the long-term opportunity. He noted NXP Semiconductors as one of the most undervalued names in the analog semiconductor space, citing strong secular growth drivers and a resilient through-cycle business model.
<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Stifel&#8217;s Take</h2>
Svanberg viewed NXP Semiconductors&#8217; June quarter as primarily in line with expectations, with revenue of $2.93 billion growing 3.2% quarter-over-quarter and beating estimates by 0.9%. Adjusted EPS reached $2.72, exceeding the analyst&#8217;s and Street estimates by $0.06 and $0.04, respectively. He noted that all end markets performed within anticipated ranges, showing a stable demand backdrop.
Free cash flow (FCF) came in strong at $696 million, 24% of revenue, rising 63% quarter-over-quarter, Svanberg noted. He said that on a trailing twelve-month (TTM) basis, FCF rose to $1.98 billion, improving by $120 million from the prior quarter. TTM FCF leverage ticked up slightly to 4.20x. However, TTM EBITDA dipped to $4.75 billion from $4.89 billion. Net leverage increased to 1.75x due to rising net debt, which hit $8.31 billion following shareholder returns and the TTTech Auto acquisition, Svanberg noted.
Looking ahead, management guided for a stronger third quarter, he noted. NXP Semiconductors expects revenue to hit a midpoint of $3.15 billion, a 7.7% sequential increase and above both the Street and the analyst&#8217;s estimates. EPS guidance also came in stronger, with a midpoint of $3.10-$0.37 above the analyst&#8217;s estimate and $0.04 above the Street&#8217;s. Gross margin and operating margin guidance also came in ahead, signaling improving profitability, Svanberg noted.
Despite these positives, the analyst flagged some caution. He noted that NXP Semiconductors&#8217; results and outlook still trail historical seasonal trends, reinforcing its role as a &#8220;late corrector&#8221; in the semiconductor space, particularly compared to smaller peers that already reset more steeply. 
The team acknowledged lingering macro uncertainty heading into the second half of 2025 and stressed that, while NXP Semiconductors hasn&#8217;t yet seen significant order volatility or tariff impacts, the long-term visibility remains cloudy, Svanberg said. As a result, the analyst awaited more evident signs of a sustained recovery in demand, margin expansion, or macro clarity.
Price Action:&nbsp;NXPI stock is down by 0.66% to $226.79 at the last check on Tuesday.

Agilysys Posts Downbeat Earnings, Joins NXP Semiconductors And Other Big Stocks Moving Lower In Tuesday's Pre-Market Session

Shares of Medpace Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/MEDP#NASDAQ">MEDP</a>) rose sharply in pre-market trading after the company reported strong financial results for the second quarter and <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/MEDP">raised its full-year guidance</a>.
Medpace expects 2025 revenue to be in the range of $2.42 billion to $2.52 billion, up from prior guidance of $2.14 billion to $2.24 billion. The company also raised its full-year earnings guidance from a range of $12.26 to $13.04 per share, compared to estimates of $13.76 to $14.53 per share.
Medpace Holdings shares surged 44.7% to $447.00 in the pre-market trading session.

Why Medpace Shares Are Trading Higher By 45%; Here Are 20 Stocks Moving Premarket

NXP Semiconductors N.V. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/NXPI#NASDAQ">NXPI</a>) reported second-quarter financial results after the market close on Monday. Here&#8217;s a rundown <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/25/07/g46532039/nxp-semiconductors-reports-second-quarter-2025-results">of the report</a>.
Q2 Earnings: NXP reported second-quarter revenue of $2.93 billion, beating analyst&nbsp;<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/NXP/earnings" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">estimates</a> of $2.90 billion, according to&nbsp;<a href="http://pro.benzinga.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Benzinga Pro</a>. The chipmaker reported second-quarter adjusted earnings of $2.72 per share, beating analyst estimates of $2.67 per share.
Total revenue was down 6% year-over-year. NXP generated $779 million in cash flow from operations and $696 million of free cash flow in the quarter.
NXP said it returned $204 million to shareholders during the quarter via buybacks and $257 million through dividends. The company ended the period with $3.17 billion in cash and cash equivalents. 
&#8220;We continue to drive solid profitability and earnings, by strengthening our competitive portfolio and by aligning our wafer fabrication footprint consistent with our hybrid manufacturing strategy,&#8221; said&nbsp;Kurt Sievers, president and CEO of NXP.
Outlook:&nbsp;NXP expects third-quarter revenue of $3.05 billion to $3.25 billion versus estimates of $3.05 billion. The company sees third-quarter adjusted earnings in the range of $2.89 to $3.30 per share versus estimates of $3.06 per share.
&#8220;Our&nbsp;guidance&nbsp;for the&nbsp;third quarter&nbsp;reflects the combination of an emerging cyclical improvement in NXP&#8217;s core end markets as well as the performance of our company specific growth drivers,&#8221; Sievers said.
NXP&#8217;s management team will further discuss the quarter on a call with analysts and investors Tuesday morning at 8 a.m. ET.
