<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Northrop Grumman (NOC): The Bearish Chart That's Hiding A Bullish Surprise</h2>

On the surface, NOC looks anything but ready to rally. This month, it's down over 10%, trading below its five, 20, 50 and 200-day simple moving averages (SMAs) &#8211; a textbook bearish picture.
Its MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence) is negative at 4.60, and the Relative Strength Index (RSI) is 42.92, drifting in weak territory.
But here's the twist: NOC's 50-day SMA is just a hair below the 200-day SMA ($494.29 vs. 496.11). One solid up week and we could see a Golden Cross, the bullish technical pattern where the 50-day SMA overtakes the 200-day &#8211; often seen as a launchpad for momentum traders.
So while NOC looks bruised, it might just be the classic case of last to fall, first to fly.
<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Lockheed Martin (LMT): Strong, But Not Strong Enough</h2>

Lockheed's role in the Dome is rock solid &#8211; THAAD, PAC-3, and command systems are all in its orbit. Its stock is technically bullish, with the price above the eight, 20 and 50-day SMAs and a MACD of 3.93 confirming positive momentum. RSI? A comfortable 55.22.
LMT's 200-day SMA is still far above at $511.65, while the stock trades at $473.16. In other words, this bird's flying &#8211; but not close to a Golden Cross.

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">RTX Corp (RTX): Already Crossed, Already Priced In</h2>

RTX is the strongest performer by far: up 23% over the past year and trading above all major SMAs, including the 200-day (now at $122.82). RSI is 56.48 and MACD is 0.46 &#8211; both bullish signals.
But here's the kicker: RTX&#8217;s bullish move indicates that optimism regarding the company could be already priced in. The excitement? In the rearview mirror. For traders hunting the next big technical signal, RTX might be yesterday's headline.
The Pentagon's budget may favor all three Golden Dome names &#8211; but when it comes to technical fireworks, Northrop Grumman is the one to watch. A Golden Cross is right around the corner. If momentum shifts, this underdog could suddenly look a lot less grounded.
So while RTX coasts and Lockheed cruises, NOC is quietly loading for launch.

Archer Aviation shares are trading higher after the company reported better-than-expected Q1 EPS results.

Rigetti Computing Inc (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/RGTI#NASDAQ">RGTI</a>) is leading quantum stocks lower Tuesday morning after the company reported mixed financial results <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/25/05/g45359309/rigetti-computing-reports-first-quarter-2025-financial-results">for the first quarter</a>.
What Happened: Rigetti Computing reported first-quarter revenue of $1.47 million, missing analyst estimates of $2.55 million, according to <a href="http://pro.benzinga.com">Benzinga Pro</a>. The company reported first-quarter earnings of 13 cents per share, beating estimates for a loss of 6 cents per share. 
Rigetti highlighted recent business developments, including the company&#8217;s selection to participate in DARPA&#8217;s quantum benchmarking initiative, awards to develop chip fabrication technology and advance superconductor quantum computing and the closing of an investment by Quanta Computer. 
The company said it had $237.7 million in cash, cash equivalents and available-for-sale investments as of April 30.

The weakness in Rigetti appears to be weighing on other quantum computing stocks including IonQ Inc (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/IONQ#NYSE">IONQ</a>) and D-Wave Quantum Inc (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/QBTS#NYSE">QBTS</a>), which both moved lower alongside Rigetti in Monday&#8217;s after-hours session. IonQ was down about 1% and D-Wave was down approximately 1.6% at the time of publication Tuesday. 
IonQ and D-Wave Quantum <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/earnings/25/05/45268901/ionq-q1-earnings-revenue-beat-smaller-than-expected-loss-forward-guidance-and-more">reported financial results</a> for the first quarter last week.

Quantum Computing Stocks Are Facing Selling Pressure Tuesday: What's Going On?

Goldman Sachs raised targets for the S&amp;P 500 Index while trimming recession odds and delaying Federal <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/topic/federal-reserve">Reserve rate cut forecasts.</a>
What Happened: In a note shared Tuesday, equity strategist David J. Kostin said the investment bank now expects the S&amp;P 500 to climb to 6,500 over the next 12 months. That&#8217;s up from a prior projection of 6,200.
The three-month target has been raised from 5,700 to 5,900. The six-month view, aligning with year-end, moved to 6,100, up from the previous 5,900.
Kostin said the revisions reflect "lower tariff rates, better economic growth, and less recession risk than we previously expected."

The S&amp;P 500 — as tracked by the SPDR S&amp;P 500 ETF Trust (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/SPY#NYSE">SPY</a>) — rose 0.4% to 5,860 on Tuesday. It hit levels last seen in early March and extending its recovery to 21% since April's lows.
The rally&#8217;s key drivers include de-escalating trade tensions and a rebound in big tech earnings.
First-quarter results showed that S&amp;P 500 earnings per share came in above expectations. Goldman now sees 2025 EPS rising 7% to $262, up from its prior 3% forecast. The 2026 forecast is also raised to $280, reflecting another 7% growth.
Valuations remain elevated but manageable. The S&amp;P 500 currently trades at 21 times forward earnings, in the 90th percentile since 1990, but still below the recent peaks.
Goldman Sachs chief economist Jan Hatzius said the Trump administration's decision to pause retaliatory tariffs for 90 days was less aggressive than feared. 
Effective tariff rate increases for 2025 are now expected to reach 13 percentage points, compared to a prior assumption of 15 percentage points.
"This is below the 54pp tariff hike we had penciled into our baseline," Hatzius said, referring to the originally expected increase. 
He added that if the Trump administration engages in other preliminary trade agreements, that might further lower the U.S. effective tariff rate.
Amid these positive trade developments, Goldman raised its U.S. GDP growth forecast for 2025 by 0.5 percentage points to 1% and cut 12-month recession odds to 35%, down from 45%.
The outlook shift also changes the expected path for interest rates. Instead of cutting in July, Goldman now expects the Federal Reserve to begin easing in December. Expect three rate cuts spaced every other meeting in 2026, rather than back-to-back, the bank noted.
Technology Stocks: Big tech underperformed during the April downturn. Still, earnings in the first quarter showed strength, especially in artificial intelligence-exposed companies.
Goldman says AI-heavy stocks posted 30% earnings growth compared to 9% for the rest of the S&amp;P 500.
"The median stock in our AI baskets has returned -1% year to date despite a 4% increase in consensus forward two-year earnings," the note says, suggesting room for outperformance as valuations remain relatively undemanding.
Stocks with high pricing power are also favored, particularly in sectors like software, semiconductors and health care, where companies are better positioned to protect margins amid elevated input costs and persistent tariff uncertainty.

Corning is now a qualified supplier of the optical infrastructure needed to connect fibers to these optical engines.
Broadcom stock gained 66% in the last 12 months, backed by the artificial intelligence frenzy.

What Happened: In an X <a href="https://x.com/theunipcs/status/1922232137199292746?s=46">post</a> on May 13, prominent trader Unipcs gave his first update in three weeks, revealing that his long Fartcoin position has grown to $7.1 million, up $2 million since mid-April.
Despite major accounts calling for a tos, he's stayed the course. 
Generational wealth comes not from entries, he said, but from holding through fear and volatility. 
He emphasized the importance of conviction, especially when tested by noise and short-term sentiment.
Unipcs says Fartcoin's current setup looks "explosive across multiple timeframes" and believes a breakout beyond previous all-time highs is only a matter of time. "I'll continue holding my long," he affirmed.
Fartcoin continues to outperform major meme coins like Dogecoin (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/doge/usd">DOGE</a>) and Shiba Inu (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/shib/usd">SHIB</a>), drawing new capital and speculation. 
As it hovers near critical technical levels, all eyes are on whether it can maintain momentum and deliver the next leg up.

Another trader has doubled down on his position, stating the coin is currently testing a key support/resistance flip, which could send it beyond $2 if it holds.
