The Vietnamese EV maker delivered 36,330 electric vehicles globally in the first quarter of 2025, representing a 296% increase <a href="https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1913510/000110465925039645/tm2513200d1_ex99-1.htm" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">year-over-year</a>. VF 3 and VF 5 accounted for 67% of total deliveries during the quarter.
VF 5 deliveries grew 153% Y/Y, and VF 6 deliveries grew 453% Y/Y.

The company will release its first-quarter 2025 financial results before the market opens on June 9, 2025. 
VinFast Auto stock tanked 23% year-to-date. The company <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/earnings/25/04/44989420/vinfast-auto-maintains-ev-delivery-outlook-amid-macro-uncertainty-despite-q4-margin-drag" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">reported fourth-quarter</a> earnings per share of a 54-cent loss, missing the street view of a 23-cent loss. Revenues of $677.89 million missed the analyst consensus estimate of $859.08 million.
The company aimed to at least double global deliveries in fiscal 2025 while continuing to monitor evolving macroeconomic conditions.

Nio (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/NIO#NYSE">NIO</a>) delivered 42,094 vehicles in the first quarter of 2025, a 40.1% growth.&nbsp;

In a development that might reshape XRP&#8217;s position in traditional finance, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has cleared ProShares&#8217; proposal to list <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/etfs">XRP futures ETFs</a>. 
Slated to list on April 30, the new funds might provide investors with a new, regulated way to ride, or bet against, the choppy currents of crypto&#8217;s third-largest asset.
Market responses have been prompt. XRP jumped to $2.32 in early trading on April 28, an increase of 6.5%, on <a href="https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/xrp/">CoinMarketCap</a>. Its market capitalization went up to $135.6 billion, with trading volume rising by over 172% within the last 24 hours.
ProShares, a well-known name in Bitcoin ETFs, initially floated the XRP futures ETFs in January — just as President Donald Trump, who <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/cryptocurrency/25/04/44907123/ripple-coinbase-solana-among-crypto-firms-contributing-over-12m-to-trumps-inauguration-fund">received massive donations</a> from Ripple, was sworn into office. Ripple created and maintains the XRP Ledger and the XRP token.
ProShares&#8217; XRP products aim to provide a variety of strategies, from leveraged exposure to bearish bets, all connected to the XRP Index.

While ProShares&#8217; news is making headlines, it&#8217;s not necessarily a first-mover benefit. Earlier this month, <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/25/04/44721421/exclusive-from-corn-to-crypto-teucrium-ceo-talks-strategy-risk-and-the-launch-of-xxrp">Teucrium rolled out its own XRP focused ETF</a>, the Teucrium 2x Long Daily XRP ETF (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/XXRP#NYSE">XXRP</a>) on the NYSE, beating ProShares in and stepping up the stakes in what&#8217;s becoming a battle to control the XRP ETF space.
In addition to futures, ProShares has also filed for an XRP spot ETF, a fund that would mirror the true price of the token, not derivatives — but that is still pending with the SEC. In the meantime, Brazil has beaten everybody to the punch, approving Hashdex&#8217;s spot XRP ETF last week, highlighting how some overseas markets are racing ahead while the U.S. regulatory machine grinds along a bit more slowly.
Adding further velocity to XRP&#8217;s institutional rally, Reuters reported that <a href="https://in.benzinga.com/markets/cryptocurrency/25/04/44984259/cme-group-to-launch-xrp-futures-in-may-how-did-xrp-price-react">CME Group plans to bring XRP futures contracts</a> to the market on May 19 to diversify beyond Bitcoin and Ethereum.
It is important to understand the distinction between a futures ETF and a spot ETF. A futures ETF does not entail owning XRP directly. Rather, it provides a way for investors to wager on what direction XRP&#8217;s price will move, providing exposure without the inconvenience of crypto wallets, private keys, or the shadow of hacking scandals. It&#8217;s a neater, albeit occasionally more expensive, means of gambling on the future of a digital asset.
The SEC&#8217;s endorsement is being touted as another move toward mainstreaming crypto in traditional financial systems. Institutional investors, previously hesitant to wade into the <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/topic/cryptocurrencies">turbulent seas of cryptocurrency</a>, are starting to dip their toes in. Reuters cited growing institutional demand for Solana and XRP after similar ETF approvals, a trend that might increase speed if additional products are approved.
XRP seems to be lapping up the limelight, an unusual solo performance in a market more typically dominated by Bitcoin&#8217;s every step. Whether this bull run has substance or is merely a pre-launch party time remains to be discovered. But one thing is sure: with futures ETFs on the horizon and institutional doors creaking ajar, Ripple&#8217;s token has bigger quarters waiting for it.

The company reported <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/25/04/n45034195/dominos-pizza-announces-first-quarter-2025-financial-results" rel="noreferrer noopener">first-quarter revenue growth of 2.5%</a> year over year to $1.11 billion, missing the analyst consensus estimate of $1.13 billion. EPS of $4.33 <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/earnings" rel="noreferrer noopener">beat the consensus</a> estimate of $4.07.
The revenue increase was primarily due to higher U.S. franchise advertising revenues, higher supply chain revenues and higher international franchise royalties and fees.&nbsp;
The growth in supply chain revenues was attributable to an increase in the company's food basket pricing to stores, which increased 4.8% during the first quarter of 2025 as compared to the first quarter of 2024.

The company's global net store count decreased by eight stores. Gross margin for the quarter expanded 90 basis points to 39.8%, while operating margin contracted 50 basis points to 18.9%.
Operating cash flow for the quarter totaled $179.1 million, with a free cash flow of $164.4 million. Domino's held $304.3 million in cash and equivalents as of March 23.
On&nbsp;April 23, 2025, the company's Board of Directors declared a&nbsp;$1.74&nbsp;per share quarterly dividend on its outstanding common stock for shareholders of record as of&nbsp;June 13, 2025, to be paid on&nbsp;June 30, 2025.
As of March&nbsp;23, 2025, the company's total remaining authorized amount for share repurchases was&nbsp;$764.3 million.
"Sustained market share growth reflects a company's ability to control what is under its control, a key to long term success. In the face of a challenging global macroeconomic environment, our Hungry for MORE strategic pillars are working together to drive MORE sales, MORE stores and MORE profits, annually," said CEO&nbsp;Russell Weiner.
On the company conference call, the executive mentioned that the business was impacted by the macro pressures on the lower-income consumer.

Strategy Incorporated (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/MSTR#NASDAQ">MSTR</a>) announced it has acquired an additional 15,355 Bitcoin (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/btc/usd">BTC</a>) for approximately $1.42 billion <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/cryptocurrency/25/03/44438245/strategy-expands-bitcoin-war-chest-with-722-million-upsized-preferred-stock-offering">between April 21 and April 27 this year.</a>
What Happened: The company paid an average price of $92,737 per Bitcoin during the purchase period, including all associated fees and expenses, according to its latest filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
As of April 27, Strategy now holds a total of 553,555 BTC, purchased for an aggregate cost of $37.90 billion at an average price of $68,459 per Bitcoin.
The company also reported achieving a 13.7% yield on its Bitcoin holdings year-to-date in 2025, highlighting its growing returns as Bitcoin&#8217;s market price has risen throughout the year.
The latest Bitcoin acquisition was funded through proceeds from MicroStrategy's <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/cryptocurrency/25/01/43399688/microstrategy-prices-preferred-stock-offering-at-80-per-share-seeks-563m-to-buy-bitcoin">ongoing at-the-market (ATM)</a> equity offerings, including both its common stock and preferred stock sales.

Whu It Matters: MicroStrategy remains the largest corporate holder of Bitcoin, continuing <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/cryptocurrency/25/01/42870343/what-microstrategys-declining-net-asset-value-premium-really-means-for-bitcoin">its aggressive strategy</a> of using capital markets activities to expand its BTC treasury holdings.
The company&#8217;s strategy dashboard, updated regularly on its website, tracks Bitcoin purchases, holdings, and financial metrics for investors and the broader public.
Strategy's Bitcoin strategy, initiated in 2020, continues to drive its market valuation, with its stock gaining over 681% in the past year. 
The firm's inclusion in the Nasdaq 100 index has increased its visibility, attracting institutional investors. 
However, Strategy faces risks from Bitcoin's volatility and a $7.274 billion debt load, which could impact liquidity if prices decline sharply.

Strategy Buys 15,355 Bitcoin For $1.42 Billion, Year-To-Date BTC Yield Hits 13.7%

As Washington cranks up <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/topic/tariffs">the tariff pressure</a>, Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/AAPL#NASDAQ">AAPL</a>) may have already played its smartest card: doubling down on India for assembly and investing deeper into U.S. component suppliers.
While the idea of building iPhones in America sounds good on paper, JPMorgan analyst Samik Chatterjee warns it's not that simple.
&#8220;The U.S. currently grapples with infrastructure and workforce limitations,&#8221; he notes &#8211; the same key ingredients that helped China become the manufacturing powerhouse it is today. Chatterjee estimates that entirely shifting iPhone assembly to the U.S. could trigger a painful 30% price increase for consumers if a 20% tariff on China is implemented.

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Apple&#8217;s Best Move: Expand In India</h2>
Rather than chasing a moonshot strategy, Chatterjee believes Apple's best move is to turbocharge what it's already doing: expand in India. &#8220;Scaling further in India to address all local U.S. demand makes the most sense,&#8221; he argues, pointing to India's large skilled workforce, favorable government policies, and the ability to scale efficiently without blowing up costs.
That doesn't mean Apple will ignore the U.S. altogether. Instead, it is expected to invest more heavily in U.S.-based component makers. According to Chatterjee, this could include processors from Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co's (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/TSM#NYSE">TSM</a>) Arizona fabs, display glass from Corning Inc (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/GLW#NYSE">GLW</a>), and optical sensors from suppliers like Coherent Corp (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/COHR#NYSE">COHR</a>) and Lumentum Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/LITE#NASDAQ">LITE</a>) &#8211; allowing Apple to meet political pressure without wrecking its margins.
