HA Sustainable Infrastructure Capital, Inc. ("HASI") (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/HASI#NYSE">HASI</a>), a leading investor in sustainable infrastructure assets, and KKR, a leading global investment firm, today announced that CarbonCount Holdings 1 LLC ("CCH1"), a co-investment vehicle between HASI and KKR, has agreed to issue $592 million in aggregate principal amount of senior unsecured notes (the "Notes") in a private offering. The fixed-rate amortizing notes will have a 20-year final maturity. The Notes were priced at a weighted average coupon of 6.76%.

Shares of companies in the broader financial services sector are trading lower as stocks pull back after surging Wednesday following President Trump's tariff pause announcement.

On Wednesday, JP Morgan analyst Mark Strouse shared his insights on the clean energy sector during <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/earnings" rel="noreferrer noopener">a recap of fourth-quarter earnings</a>.
The analyst writes that power demand remains strong, particularly in utility-scale projects, with growing backlogs across all companies in this subsector.
While utility-scale challenges like transformer availability and financing have mostly stabilized, project-specific issues are projected to persist in <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/analyst-ratings/analyst-color" rel="noreferrer noopener">the near term, adds the analyst</a>.
Strouse says that the U.S. residential solar sector remains weak due to high interest rates, financing challenges, and lower growth projections from major installers.
The analyst expects clarity on potential changes to the Inflation Reduction Act to be a key near-term catalyst, with increasing Republican support in the House of Representatives.
Strouse writes that until policy clarity improves, he will continue to favor companies with strong U.S. manufacturing exposure, diversified markets, and long-term cash flow visibility.
This includes NEXTracker (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/NXT#NASDAQ">NXT</a>), GE Vernova Inc. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/GEV#NYSE">GEV</a>), First Solar, Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/FSLR#NASDAQ">FSLR</a>) and HASI (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/HASI#NYSE">HASI</a>), adds the analyst.
GEV: Strouse writes that while AI-related headlines may introduce short-term stock volatility, he notes the ongoing rise in gas power prices and customer demand for turbines will provide confidence in the company's future performance.
Additionally, the strong position of GEV's Electrification backlog supports the view that the company can achieve significant earnings growth over the next four years, regardless of hyperscaler capex plans.
GEV is a U.S. Equity Analyst Focus List pick. The analyst kept the price forecast at $436<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/gev/analyst-ratings" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> with an Overweight rating</a>.
FSLR: The analyst anticipates the company will see a strong rebound in bookings during FY25, increasing visibility into FY27 and beyond, potentially at higher pricing if new tariffs or FEOC regulations are introduced.
The analyst kept the price forecast at $268, <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/fslr/analyst-ratings" rel="noreferrer noopener">with an Overweight rating</a>.
NXT: Strouse says that the company&#8217;s scale, margin resilience, strong balance sheet, and geographic diversification make it a safe bet for investors in the current market.
The analyst maintained the price forecast of $61 <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/nxt/analyst-ratings" rel="noreferrer noopener">and an Overweight rating</a>.

First Solar, Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/FSLR#NASDAQ">FSLR</a>): The analyst cut the price forecast from $246 to $236, <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/FSLR/analyst-ratings">while maintaining a Buy rating.</a>
The analyst writes that updates on the A/D ruling will be pivotal for pricing power, though near-term customer commitments may stay limited.
The analyst says that monitoring warranty remediation costs and the shift of India-manufactured supply to the U.S. will be crucial for evaluating capacity utilization and gross margin gains.
For FY24/FY25, Gosai estimates revenue of $1.502 billion with an adj. EBITDA margin of 44.6% and $5.516 billion with a 55% margin (slightly above consensus).

Gosai anticipates that wind production data from key western states could provide upside during the seasonally weaker fourth-quarter.
The analyst highlights updates on the path to achieving the 2027 CAFD guidance as a key factor, noting recent M&amp;A activity, including Tuolumne Wind, and the offer of Honeycomb, which add visibility toward reaching the $2.50 midpoint.
The analyst estimates 2024 EBITDA/CAFD of $1.17 billion/$406 million (roughly in-line) and 2025 EBITA/CAFD of 1.24 billion/$432 million (above consensus).
Bloom Energy Corporation (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/BE#NYSE">BE</a>): The analyst cut the price forecast from $20 to $18, while <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/be/analyst-ratings">reiterating an Underperform rating</a>.
Gosai says that key focus areas for the company include ensuring stability in order flow, securing greenfield projects, and tracking developments related to ITC impacts, which are pivotal for project economics.
While utility partnerships are expected to increase, maintaining cost competitiveness and improving margins will be critical for achieving the company&#8217;s goals, adds the analyst.
The analyst's 2024 revenue estimate falls at the lower end of the guidance range of $1.4 billion-$1.6 billion, and expects gross margins to be below consensus at 24.3%, vs. the 26.6% consensus and 28% guidance.
Also, the analyst sees 2025 revenue and EBITDA below consensus.
The AES Corporation (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/AES#NYSE">AES</a>): The analyst maintained the price forecast of $11 and an <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/aes/analyst-ratings">Underperform rating on the stock</a>.
The analyst expects the outlook for the near term to be impacted by one-off headwinds, including the expiration of the Warrior Run PPA, divestitures in Brazil and Ohio, and droughts in Columbia. FLNC monetization is not expected in the near term.
The analyst says they are looking for updates on the $3.5 billion asset sale program while anticipating near-term EPS dilution and execution risks in the renewables segment.
