She noted that these companies have <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/general/politics/24/11/41779902/prison-stocks-geo-group-corecivic-rally-on-trump-2024-election-win-history-shows-the-gains-may-n">financially benefited since the election</a>. &#8220;This is what it&#8217;s all about,&#8221; she said. &#8220;You can literally look up the stock prices for GeoGroup and CoreCivic and look at their stock prices since the election.&#8221;&nbsp;
GEO Group&#8217;s stock has surged from $15.13 on Nov. 5 to $26.48 on Nov. 11, while CoreCivic&#8217;s climbed from $13.63 to $23.94 over the same period.
<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Newark Mayor Arrested During Protest</h2>
The controversy over Delaney Hall escalated on Friday when Newark Mayor Ras Baraka, a Democrat who is running for governor, was arrested outside the facility. Federal prosecutors charged Baraka with trespassing after he reportedly ignored warnings from federal agents, Alina Habba, interim U.S. attorney for New Jersey, <a href="https://x.com/AlinaHabba/status/1920918181951971563">posted</a> on X.
Baraka, who has been a vocal critic of the facility, was accompanied by three New Jersey congressional Democrats — Reps. LaMonica McIver, Bonnie Watson Coleman, and Robert Menendez Jr. — during the protest.&nbsp;

The lawmakers said they were at the site to inspect conditions but were met with resistance from federal agents. &#8220;We were able to get in, speak to detainees, check out the facilities, and make sure everything was OK there,&#8221; McIver told <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ewg2we9qq-o">CNN</a>. &#8220;But ICE kept giving us the run-around,&#8221; added Watson Coleman.
Baraka was booked and released the same day. In a video reviewed by the <a href="https://apnews.com/article/newark-immigration-baraka-ice-arrest-c260a4f0fda53ec52bca691a1f68aeda">Associated Press</a>, a federal official can be heard telling Baraka that he could not enter the facility because he was &#8220;not a congress member.&#8221;
DHS has maintained that the facility has the necessary permits and completed all required inspections, despite Baraka's claims to the contrary, according to the AP.

On CNBC's &#8220;<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/topic/mad-money-lightning-round">Mad Money Lightning Round</a>,&#8221; Jim Cramer said Sportradar Group AG (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/SRAD#NASDAQ">SRAD</a>) is a &#8220;very interesting, intriguing&#8221; stock and added that he <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/earnings/25/03/44398406/sportradar-strengthens-sports-tech-portfolio-with-strategic-img-arena-acquisition-boosts-2025-outlook">likes the whole space</a>.
Adding support to his choice, Sportradar, on March 19, reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter sales.
