Celularity Inc is a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing off-the-shelf placental-derived allogeneic cell therapies including genetically modified and unmodified NK cells, engineered T cells including CAR-T cells, and mesenchymal-like adherent stromal cells, targeting indications across cancer, immunologic, infectious, and degenerative diseases. It manages its operations through an evaluation of three distinct business segments which include Cell Therapy, Degenerative Disease, and bio-banking. The company generates the majority of its revenue from bio-banking segment.

JD.com Gears Up For Q1 Print; Here Are The Recent Forecast Changes From Wall Street's Most Accurate Analysts

Board of Directors authorized a new share repurchase program with the total amount up to NT$525 million (approximately US$16.4 million, based on the exchange rate of NT$31.96 to US$1.00 as of April 30, 2025).
Under the program, the company will repurchase up to 15 million shares from the open market on the Taiwan Stock Exchange, approximately 2.06% of its issued share capital. The shares will be repurchased within a price range of NT$18.87 to NT$35.00 per share, while the buyback will still be carried out if the stock price falls lower than the aforementioned range. The authorization repurchase program period is from May 14 to July 13, 2025.

ChipMOS TECHNOLOGIES (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/IMOS#NASDAQ">IMOS</a>) reported quarterly earnings of $0.15 per share. This is a 58.33 percent decrease over earnings of $0.36 per share from the same period last year. The company reported $166.70 million in sales this quarter. This is a 2.08 percent increase over sales of $163.30 million the same period last year.

Telefonica Brasil (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/VIV#NYSE">VIV</a>) reported quarterly earnings of $0.11 per share. This is a 0.91 percent increase over earnings of $0.11 per share from the same period last year. The company reported $2.46 billion in sales this quarter. This is a 10.22 percent decrease over sales of $2.74 billion the same period last year.

Renowned independent investment strategist Ed Yardeni, the President of Yardeni Research, has lowered his U.S. recession probability while raising his S&amp;P 500 target following the trade deal with China.
What Happened: After the U.S. and China announced a <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/equities/25/05/45341884/apple-amazon-nvidia-rise-in-monday-premarket-as-us-china-agree-to-90-day-tariff-truce-neither-side-wants-a-decoupling">90-day truce </a>on Monday, the markets cheered the development as the S&amp;P 500 and Nasdaq 100 rallied over 3%.
While this provides a short-term relief, Yardeni noted in his QuickTakes that the negative wealth effect of President Donald Trump&#8217;s tariffs was &#8220;probably insignificant&#8221; after the announcement of the deal.
According to his earlier analysis, the tariff turmoil was having a &#8220;negative wealth effect on consumers, especially retired and soon-to-be retiring Baby Boomers, who collectively own about $25 trillion in corporate equities and mutual funds.&#8221;
This led him to raise the &#8220;subjective probability of a recession&#8221; this year from 20% to 35% on March 5, and from 35% to 45% on March 31 as stock prices tanked in response to the tariffs.
However, he said that &#8220;We didn&#8217;t cross over to the dark side subsequently, i.e., forecasting greater than a 50% chance of a recession. Instead, we lowered our recession odds back down to 35% on May 4. Now we are lowering it again to 25%.&#8221;
After Monday&#8217;s stock market rally, he also raised the S&amp;P 500 year-end target back up to 6,500 from 6,000.

Why It Matters: Concerning other metrics, Yardeni highlighted that he has raised the real GDP growth range to 1.5%-2.5% this year, up from our previous 0.5%-1.5%.
Also, he predicts the S&amp;P 500 forward earnings to rise to $300 per share at the end of this year.
&#8220;We now see the S&amp;P 500 forward P/E at 21.6 at the end of the year rather than 20.0 as we previously had projected,&#8221; he said.
Price Action: The SPDR S&amp;P 500 ETF Trust (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/SPY#NYSE">SPY</a>) and Invesco QQQ Trust ETF (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/QQQ#NASDAQ">QQQ</a>), which track the S&amp;P 500 index and Nasdaq 100 index, respectively, jumped with joy on Monday. The SPY was up 3.30% to $582.99, while the QQQ advanced 4.07% to $507.85, according to <a href="https://pro.benzinga.com/dashboard">Benzinga Pro</a> data.

After Monday, all the indices were out of the correction zone. The S&amp;P 500 index was down 4.93% from its record high of 6,147.43 points, scaled on Feb. 19. Dow Jones was 5.91% lower than its 52-week high of 45,073.63 points, and Nasdaq 100 was 6.09% lower than its previous high of 22,222.61 points.
On Tuesday, the futures of the Dow Jones, S&amp;P 500, and Nasdaq 100 indices were trading lower.

Former hedge fund manager Martin Shkreli took aim at the quantum computing industry again on Monday, posting a series of critical remarks on X.
 What Happened: Shkreli, widely known as &#8220;Pharma Bro&#8221; for his controversial role in the pharmaceutical industry, dismissed the commercial promise of quantum computing as being several decades away, while also accusing publicly traded quantum firms of inflating their financial narratives to mislead investors.

&#8220;[The] Global Risk Institute interviewed 24 quantum computing experts who agreed it's 20-30 years before we see RSA2048 broken. 20-30 years before quantum works. I say 50,&#8221; Shkreli says, referencing the widely used encryption standard often cited as a benchmark for quantum disruption, along with a chart shared by the Global Risk Institute.

In a follow-up Tweet, Shkreli took on several publicly traded quantum computing stocks, starting with Rigetti Computing Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/RGTI#NASDAQ">RGTI</a>), which announced its <a href="https://benzinga.com/news/earnings/25/05/45360620/rigetti-stock-sinks-after-q1-revenues-miss-estimates-details">first quarter results</a> on Monday, posting a 51.77% year-over-year decline in revenues. &#8220;This is the real state of affairs in quantum compute,&#8221; he says, &#8220;nothing is happening.&#8221;
In the same post, he attacked others such as IONQ Inc. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/IONQ#NYSE">IONQ</a>), which he says is &#8220;making up&#8221; revenues via &#8220;desperate acquisitions. Followed by D-Wave Quantum Inc. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/QBTS#NYSE">QBTS</a>) and Quantum Computing Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/QUBT#NASDAQ">QUBT</a>), which he accuses of getting lucky and selling a single machine, or generating revenue via &#8220;alleged fraud.&#8221; 
Benzinga reached out to IONQ, D-Wave Quantum, Rigetti, and Quantum Computing, and is awaiting their response.

Why It Matters: Early this year, Shkreli published a comprehensive short thesis on quantum computing stocks on his X account, forecasting over 90% downsides for several stocks. The stocks covered in the thesis have witnessed a pullback since then.

He followed up on this a few weeks later by <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/equities/25/01/43119243/martin-shkreli-calls-ionq-and-rigetti-best-shorts-despite-recent-stock-gains-cites-offline-quantum-systems">calling IonQ and Rigetti</a> the &#8220;best shorts of his career,&#8221; saying that &#8220;we are further away from quantum than even I thought.&#8221; 
More recently, Shkreli slammed Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/MSFT#NASDAQ">MSFT</a>) for its quantum chip breakthrough, Majorna 1. He added that the term &#8220;breakthrough&#8221; should be <a href="https://benzinga.com/25/02/43840954/pharma-bro-martin-shkreli-slams-microsofts-quantum-breakthrough-predicts-ionq-and-rgti-will-plummet-as-tech-falls-behind">used with caution</a>.
Following a strong performance in 2024, most quantum computing stocks have witnessed steep declines year-to-date in 2025, with D-Wave Quantum being the sole exception.

'Pharma Bro' Martin Shkreli Rips Into Quantum Stocks: 'Nothing Is Happening'—Accuses IONQ, D-Wave Quantum, And Others Of Revenue Gimmicks

Economist and market commentator&nbsp;Peter Schiff&nbsp;projected Monday that the next Bitcoin (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/btc/usd">BTC</a>) pullback would trigger an unrealized loss for Michael Saylor-led Strategy Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/MSTR#NASDAQ">MSTR</a>) on its BTC purchases.
What Happened: During his YouTube podcast, Schiff weighed in on Bitcoin recapturing the crucial $100,000 level and Strategy buying billions in the cryptocurrency funded by debt.
&#8220;His average cost now is almost 70,000 a bitcoin, so it&#8217;s getting higher and higher,&#8221; he said.
Schiff predicted that Strategy&#8217;s average acquisition cost might reach $70,000 by his next purchase, and the subsequent Bitcoin decline could push the firm &#8220;into&nbsp;the red&#8221; for the first&nbsp;time. &#8220;We&#8217;ll see what kind of fireworks that sparks,&#8221; he added.
Strategy didn&#8217;t immediately respond to Benzinga&#8217;s request for comment.
