The company reported a <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/25/04/n44624847/conagra-brands-reports-third-quarter-results" rel="noreferrer noopener">third-quarter sales decline of 6.3%</a> year-on-year to $2.84 billion, missing the analyst consensus estimate of $2.903 billion.
Organic net sales decreased 5.2%, driven by a&nbsp;2.1% negative impact from&nbsp;price/mix and a&nbsp;3.1%&nbsp;decrease in volume.&nbsp;
Adjusted EPS of $0.51 <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/earnings" rel="noreferrer noopener">missed the consensus</a> estimate of $0.53.
Gross profit declined 17.3% to&nbsp;$710 million and the gross margin contracted 331 basis points to 25%.

The 10-year Treasury bond yielded 4.06% and the two-year bond was at 3.78%. The CME Group's FedWatch <a href="https://www.cmegroup.com/markets/interest-rates/cme-fedwatch-tool.html">tool </a>shows markets pricing in a 76.7% likelihood of the Federal Reserve maintaining current interest rates through its May meeting.

Senior economist Jeremy Siegel, in his weekly commentary, explained that the public is more willing to endure the near-term friction and economic headwinds from the cuts to inefficient government spending rather than "facing higher prices via tariffs, which bring near-term pain with very uncertain long-term benefit."
He said, "Dividend-paying value stocks look increasingly attractive, and I expect the market rotation from growth to dividend stocks to continue."

Shares of Bloom Energy Corporation (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/BE#NYSE">BE</a>) are trading higher Tuesday after the company announced a partnership with Conagra Brands Inc (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/CAG#NYSE">CAG</a>) to implement fuel cell technology at its <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/equities/25/04/44585627/conagra-embraces-bloom-energys-fuel-cells-to-power-ohio-operations">Ohio production facilities.</a>
What To Know: Bloom Energy and Conagra have signed a 15-year power purchase agreement to deploy approximately six megawatts of fuel cell technology at Conagra's Ohio facilities. 
The project is expected to supply 70% to 75% of the sites' electricity needs while reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 19%. The move aligns with Conagra's 2030 sustainability targets, which include science-based greenhouse gas reductions and have been validated by the Science Based Targets initiative.
Bloom Energy's fuel cells generate electricity without combustion, avoiding pollutants like nitrogen oxides and carbon monoxide, which are typically produced by traditional power generation. 
Conagra's vice president of sustainability, Christine Daugherty, stated that the initiative supports the company's efforts to modernize its supply chain and reduce its environmental impact.
&#8220;We are committed to channeling our operational efficiency efforts into strategic areas where we can make a significant impact across our production process,&#8221; Daugherty said.
As part of its broader sustainability strategy, Conagra said it established a $9 million Sustainability Capital Allowance program to invest in technologies that improve operational efficiency and minimize environmental footprint.

Food company Conagra Brands Inc (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/CAG#NYSE">CAG</a>) announced on Tuesday it is teaming up with Bloom Energy Corp (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/BE#NYSE">BE</a>) to integrate advanced fuel cell technology at <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/25/04/n44582310/conagra-brands-collaborates-with-bloom-energy-to-utilize-fuel-cell-technology-at-its-ohio-producti" rel="noreferrer noopener">two of its Ohio manufacturing plants.</a>
The initiative, established through a 15-year power purchase agreement (PPA), aims to deliver clean, combustion-free electricity while reducing emissions.
The partnership will see Bloom Energy&#8217;s fuel cells deployed at Conagra's production sites in Troy and Archbold, Ohio. This installation, with an estimated six-megawatt capacity, is expected to supply 70% to 75% of the electricity needed at these facilities.

We expect&nbsp;Bloom&#8217;s&nbsp;fuel cells to provide cleaner and reliable power at our&nbsp;Troy&nbsp;and&nbsp;Archbold&nbsp;facilities,&#8221; said&nbsp;Christine Daugherty, vice president of sustainability at Conagra Brands.
A major advantage of combination is the anticipated 19% decrease in greenhouse gas emissions at both locations. This initiative supports Conagra's long-term sustainability objectives for 2030.
Unlike traditional methods, Bloom's system eliminates pollutants like nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, and fine particulate matter.
Complementing this clean energy initiative, Conagra has established a $9 million Sustainability Capital Allowance program.
The fund is dedicated to advancing sustainability across the company's supply chain by investing in energy-efficient technologies, modernizing operations, and reducing the environmental footprint of its production facilities.
Price Action: CAG shares traded higher by 0.22% at $26.73 in premarket at last check Tuesday.
