Such a wave of releases is not common for the tech giant, especially outside its usual fall product season.
The company&#8217;s strategy seems to be leveraging the robust momentum of the Mac and iPad, which saw over 15% sales growth during the holiday quarter. While the new models are minor updates, they initiate&nbsp;a new marketing cycle and&nbsp;may prompt some consumers to upgrade.
Amidst sluggish iPhone sales, Apple is pulling out all the stops to bolster&nbsp;its second-quarter results and meet&nbsp;guidance. The iPhone 16e&#8217;s $599 price tag is part of this strategy.

Mark Cuban, the billionaire entrepreneur and a regular on Shark Tank, once publicly challenged the legitimacy of President Donald Trump&#8217;s billionaire status.
What Happened: During a podcast in 2016, Cuban insinuated that Trump&#8217;s cash assets do not exceed $165 million, a sum significantly smaller than Cuban&#8217;s own wealth, estimated at $5.7 billion.
This is not the first instance of Cuban expressing criticism towards Trump. The relationship between the two, which was once amicable, has deteriorated over time.

He further examined Trump&#8217;s business undertakings, implying a lack of focus in them.
&#8220;So when you&#8217;re putting your name on steaks, and you&#8217;re putting your name on water, you&#8217;re putting your name on playing cards, you&#8217;re putting your name on all this nonsense, right? You&#8217;re not gonna make big bucks, no matter what. It&#8217;s not like Trump Steaks were gonna make him $100 million. It&#8217;s not like it was gonna make him $5 million,&#8221; Cuban added. 
During the interview at that time, Cuban said he has more money than Trump. &#8220;It&#8217;s not even close, I do,&#8221; Cuban said. 
&#8220;Before all the Trumpians jump on me on who has more money, the reason I know is when you file your federal election campaign reports, you have to list all your cash and liquid securities and bonds. You have to list them one by one. So we know without any question that as of May 27, Donald doesn&#8217;t have more than $165 million in cash and securities and bonds,&#8221; he said. 
&#8220;And trust me, I&#8217;ve got a lot of more than that in cash, securities, and bonds. And so you know, I&#8217;m willing to bet dimes against dollars that that&#8217;s pretty much what he&#8217;s got,&#8221; he continued.

The decision temporarily shields the iconic vehicle from price hikes that threaten to disrupt its international supply chain and potentially drive its <a href="https://www.chevrolet.com/trucks/silverado/1500">$40,000 to $70,000 sticker price</a> even higher.

According to <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2025/03/06/economy/tariffs-delay-mexico-canada/index.html">CNN</a>, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick indicated that Canadian tariffs might also see a similar postponement, though no official announcement had been made by late Thursday. A senior Canadian government source told CNN that negotiations were ongoing without clarity on whether the tariffs would be lifted. 
The stakes remain high for the Silverado. Of the 673,000 units General Motors Co (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/GM#NYSE">GM</a>) produced last year, 31% were built at the company&#8217;s factory in Silao, Mexico, and 20% at its Oshawa, Canada plant, according to <a href="https://www.ft.com/content/fb55f297-7e29-4215-a67f-4217e1a026d6">the Financial Times</a>.

Even Silverados manufactured at U.S. facilities in Michigan and Indiana rely on cross-border parts including power steering and door trim panels from Mexico, rear lighting from Canada, airbag modules from Germany and center displays from Japan, according to S&amp;P Global Mobility data cited by the FT. 
Data collected by Export Genius cited by the FT showed Mexican exports of Silverado components totaled nearly $30 billion last year, with braking systems alone accounting for $4.3 billion. 
GM has been preparing for potential tariffs since Trump&#8217;s election. According to the FT, CFO Paul Jacobson said at a <a href="https://www.cnbc.com/2025/02/11/ford-ceo-says-trumps-tariffs-are-causing-chaos-in-auto-industry.html">Wolfe Research investment conference</a> last month that the company had reduced inventory at non-U.S. plants by nearly a third &#8220;because the last thing you want is a bunch of finished inventory that&#8230; suddenly became 25% more expensive just with the passage of time.&#8221;

Bank of America Sounds Alarm on Massive Data Breach, Millions Could Be Affected - Is Your Account Safe?

Own the DOGE, the group behind the original Doge meme's intellectual property, has unveiled a new meme coin named Cocoro (COCORO), launched on Base, the Ethereum layer-2 network developed by Coinbase.
What Happened: The coin's debut coincided with a blog <a href="https://kabochan.blog.jp/archives/53553858.html">post </a>from Atsuko Sato, the owner of the late Kabosu—the Shiba Inu that inspired Dogecoin—introducing her newly adopted 10-year-old rescue dog, Cocoro. The IP around Cocoro is being officially managed by Own the Doge.
COCORO's market cap quickly surged past $80 million after its launch on Saturday, before dropping to around $46 million with a token price near $0.046. Tokenomics show 75% of the supply was locked into liquidity pools, 20% distributed via airdrops to DOG and NEIRO holders, and the remaining 5% allocated to a DAO reserve.

The project's pseudonymous CEO, Smoke, <a href="https://decrypt.co/309199/next-dogecoin-cocoro-official-base-meme-coin">told </a>the Decrypt that the team chose Base for its scalability and affordability. "We are big fans of what Base is doing for the ecosystem," said Smoke. "They have made it fast and affordable to build on Ethereum at scale." He added that DOG, their previous token, has over 1 million holders on Base.

New Meme Coin Cocoro Launched By Dogecoin's IP Rights Holder

The Trump Organization has launched a lawsuit against Capital One, alleging that the bank closed hundreds of President Donald Trump-linked accounts for politically motivated reasons.
What Happened: The Trump Organization claims that Capital One has closed numerous accounts related to the Trump family due to &#8220;woke&#8221; political motivations.
Eric Trump, the&nbsp;executive vice president of the&nbsp;Trump Organization, expressed his frustration over the situation, stating that transferring over 300 bank accounts was a challenging task. 
He clarified that these accounts were linked to various business ventures, including hotels, golf courses, residential&nbsp;and commercial buildings, retail outlets, skating rinks, and parking garages. He denied any political affiliation, emphasizing that the only common factor was the Trump name.
"I can't tell you how hard it is to change more than 300 bank accounts – and for no reason whatsoever. These were hotels and golf courses, residential buildings and commercial buildings, retail outlets and skating rinks and parking garages,&#8221; Eric Trump <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/trump-organization-eric-trump-sue-capital-one-unjustifiable-2021-debanking-based-woke-beliefs">told</a> Fox News.

Capital One, on the other hand, has denied these allegations, asserting that it does not terminate customer accounts due to political reasons. According to the lawsuit filed&nbsp;in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit&nbsp;of Florida, the bank had notified the Trump Organization in March 2021 about the closure of&nbsp;hundreds of their bank accounts,&nbsp;which held millions of dollars.
The lawsuit suggests that Capital One is&nbsp;part of a growing trend&nbsp;among major financial institutions to&nbsp;de-bank clients with conflicting political&nbsp;views. The Trump Organization is seeking to highlight this issue, which it deems to be of significant public interest and importance.
Insiders have hinted to Fox News that other banks, including Chase, Bank of America, and TD Bank, have also cut ties with Trump and may face similar lawsuits in the near future.

Okta, Moderna and MicroStrategy Are Among Top 10 Large-Cap Gainers Last Week (Mar 3-Mar 7): Are The Others In Your Portfolio?

Vice President JD Vance recently found himself confronted by a group of pro-Ukraine protestors while out with his young daughter in Ohio.
What Happened: Vance came across a group of &#8220;Slava Ukraini&#8221; protestors near his residence in East Walnut Hills, Cincinnati. The group, consisting of around 30 to 40 individuals, prominently displayed signs expressing support for Ukraine. They allegedly followed Vance, shouting slogans that caused his three-year-old daughter to become visibly distressed.
In an attempt to distract the protestors from his child, Vance engaged in a dialogue with them. He characterized the exchange as &#8220;mostly respectful,&#8221; but voiced criticism against involving children in political demonstrations.
He wrote on X, "I decided to speak with the protesters in the hopes that I could trade a few minutes of conversation for them leaving my toddler alone. (Nearly all of them agreed)."
He added it was "mostly respectful conversation, but if you're chasing a 3-year-old as part of a political protest, you're a s— person."&nbsp;
