Autoliv Stock Jumps After Q1 Beat As Tariff Pressures Prove Negligible

U.S. stocks were lower, with the Dow Jones index falling around 250 points on Wednesday.
Shares of Autoliv, Inc. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/ALV#NYSE">ALV</a>) rose sharply during Wednesday's session after the company reported better-than-expected <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/ALV/earnings">first-quarter financial results</a>.
Autoliv reported quarterly earnings of $2.15 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $1.67 per share. The company reported quarterly sales of $2.58 billion which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $2.52 billion.
Autoliv shares jumped 7.5% to $88.42 on Wednesday.

<li>Perion Network Ltd. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/PERI#NASDAQ">PERI</a>) rose 10.8% to $9.00 as the company announced preliminary first quarter 2025 results.</li>
<li>USA Rare Earth, Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/USAR#NASDAQ">USAR</a>) gained 10.7% to $14.97.</li>
<li>IAMGOLD Corporation (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/IAG#NYSE">IAG</a>) shares rose 10% to $8.19. Shares of gold stocks traded higher amid a rally in the value of the commodity past the price of $3300 and towards an all-time high.</li>
<li>MP Materials Corp. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/MP#NYSE">MP</a>) rose 9.4% to $27.44.</li>
<li>Sibanye Stillwater Limited (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/SBSW#NYSE">SBSW</a>) gained 9% to $4.8850. Shares of gold stocks traded higher amid a rally in the value of the commodity past the price of $3300 and towards an all-time high.</li>
<li>Energy Fuels Inc. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/UUUU#NYSE">UUUU</a>) gained 8.8% to $4.4950.</li>
<li>Wabash National Corporation (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/WNC#NYSE">WNC</a>) rose 7.7% to $9.88.</li>
<li>Grocery Outlet Holding Corp. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/GO#NASDAQ">GO</a>) gained 6.2% to $14.77. Jefferies analyst Corey Tarlowe upgraded Grocery Outlet Holding from Hold to Buy and raised the price target from $13 to $18.</li>
