In a Sunday interview, Ray Dalio, the founder of Bridgewater Associates, expressed his apprehension about a possible economic crisis that could surpass a recession if the current economic policies are not managed effectively.

Prior to the recent exemption, Apple had devised a plan to shift its supply chain to manufacture&nbsp;more US-bound iPhones in India,&nbsp;which would have been subject&nbsp;to much lower levies.

Howard Lutnick, the US Commerce Secretary, indicated on ABC outlet that the late Friday reprieve&nbsp;was temporary, and reiterated Trump's&nbsp;plan to apply a different,&nbsp;specific levy to the sector.

"It's looking like brilliant diplomacy. In the short run, I'd be very surprised to learn that most of the companies with critical supply chains don't have big inventories in warehouses around the U.S," Smith said.

Turns out, the businesses in question were a trio of Airbnbs and a mobile home park. The mobile home park? Well, let's just say things went downhill faster than a trailer in a windstorm.

Ramsey, who owns hundreds of millions of dollars in real estate himself, wasn't impressed. "You've got a really bad deal," he told her, flat out. "Mobile home parks generally aren't that bad. They generally are cash money." But Andrea's wasn't printing cash — it was draining it.
Despite pouring $200,000 to $300,000 in upgrades into the park, the numbers just didn't add up. "You don't have a $650,000 mortgage on a mobile home park that makes 60 grand," Ramsey said. "That does not make sense. It literally should be making 300."
And then he drove the point home:
"That thing ought to be cash flowing like a bandit."
Andrea explained there were only 13 mobile homes on the property, along with a four-bedroom house. Some of the units had below-market rents because it was low-income housing, and she was reinvesting profits into improvements. But Ramsey wasn't buying the math. "You're not charging," he said. "It's a trailer — of course it's lower income housing."

And that's when Ramsey launched into full-on coach mode.
"If you did not already own this mobile home park," he told her, "and you had the chance to buy it today with $650,000 in debt to make $60K a year, would you buy it again?" His answer: a hard no.
He didn't mince words about the investment either. "If you really are $650,000 in debt on depreciating, losing-value mobile homes and you're only cash flowing 60 — you got a really bad deal. And you need to get out of it if you can. It just sucks as an investment."
Ramsey's advice? Forget the cosmetic upgrades. Stop building redwood decks and "giving them all a hot tub." Focus on paying off the mortgage. "Let's get rid of the mortgage and then we'll go back and do our improvements… once we're debt-free and we've got real cash flow."
Andrea's situation wasn't just a one-off lesson in bad ROI — it also opened the door to Ramsey's broader philosophy on mobile homes as investments. He made it clear: never buy one to live in.
"They go down in value," he said. "It's a car you sleep in… Financially, that's what it amounts to."

With low buy-in and high cash flow, that made business sense. "She was making bank," he said. "She was printing money."

"If you can get someone else to buy it, you should sell it and get rid of it," Ramsey told Andrea. "That's a horrible ROI."

In the latest instance, Kaspersky is back with a warning of yet another security risk facing crypto users.
<h2 class="wp-block-heading">A Malicious &#8220;Officepackage&#8221;</h2>
Kaspersky has recently found crypto-stealing malware disguised as a Microsoft (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/MSFT#NASDAQ">MSFT</a>) Office package on SourceForge, a popular software hosting and distribution platform.&nbsp;

In a Tuesday blog <a href="https://securelist.com/miner-clipbanker-sourceforge-campaign/116088/">post</a>, the cybersecurity outfit warned of a project it found on SourceForge called &#8220;officepackage,&#8221; which posed as a legitimate Microsoft Office add-in project but redirected users to another website to download malware disguised as pirated Microsoft Office applications.
Once downloaded, Kaspersky explains that the malware scans the system for previous infections and antivirus software, deleting itself if it finds either. But if the system passes both checks, the malware quickly sends out a message of key system data through a Telegram API, sets up several re-entry measures and delivers its payload, the so-called ClipBanker.
ClipBanker is a malicious code that replaces cryptocurrency addresses in a system&#8217;s clipboard with the attacker&#8217;s own. This exploit is particularly potent as crypto users typically copy wallet addresses instead of typing them out to avoid errors. As such, ClipBanker turns what is usually a safety precaution into the user&#8217;s undoing.

Still, the threat of the officepackage scheme may extend beyond stealing cryptocurrencies.
&#8220;While the attack primarily targets cryptocurrency by deploying a miner and ClipBanker, the attackers could sell system access to more dangerous actors,&#8221; Kaspersky warned.
Responding to the recent Kaspersky report, SourceForge President Logan Abbot <a href="https://cointelegraph.com/news/microsoft-office-extension-packages-hide-malware-replaces-crypto-addresses">told</a> Cointelegraph that the firm had removed the officepackage software from its platform and put measures in place to prevent future occurrences. But these measures arrived too late for thousands of users.
According to Kaspersky, 4,604 users were affected by the scheme between January and March, with Russians seemingly the primary target as they accounted for 90% of the victims.

While the officepackage scheme is particularly tricky, there are simple measures users can take to stay protected.
For one, as highlighted by Kaspersky, users should stick to official sources for their software as much as possible.&nbsp;
&#8220;We advise users against downloading software from untrusted sources. If you are unable to obtain some software from official sources for any reason, remember that seeking alternative download options always carries higher security risks,&#8221; the firm stressed.
Another step users can take to stay safe is to have up-to-date antivirus software for prompt and easy malware detection.
Furthermore, users should always double-check wallet addresses before executing transfers to avoid making transfers to unwanted addresses.

Ramsey has had calls with people in their 60s and 70s who have to continue working because Social Security isn't enough and they have no savings.
The decisions you make will compound in the long run. People who continue to spend frivolously won't have money left when they need it the most. People can't work forever, especially in physically demanding jobs. A financial safety net makes it easier to retire and gives you more options.
Making the same mistakes likely won't lead to a good path. You may fall short of critical financial goals and find yourself making uncomfortable sacrifices later in life. You can either have short-term pain for long-term gain or wind up with short-term gain for long-term pain. It's better to make sacrifices now than later, and part of that is correcting your mistakes.
Envision how your life will look if you correct your mistakes compared to how it will look if you ignore your weaknesses. Keeping those two scenarios in mind can help you take the necessary actions to get back on track.
