Capgemini SE (OTC:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/CGEMY#OTC">CGEMY</a>) announced Monday that it will acquire WNS Holdings Ltd. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/WNS#NYSE">WNS</a>) in a <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/25/07/g46267656/capgemini-to-acquire-wns-to-create-a-global-leader-in-agentic-ai-powered-intelligent-operations" rel="noreferrer noopener">$3.3 billion all-cash deal</a> to create a global leader in Agentic AI-powered Intelligent Operations.
The transaction, which offers $76.50 per WNS share, reflects a 17% premium over WNS&#8217; most recent closing price and has received unanimous approval from both companies&#8217; boards. Capgemini expects the deal to close by year-end, pending shareholder and court approvals.
The acquisition gives Capgemini access to WNS&#8217;s high-margin digital business process services and strengthens its position in the U.S. market. The combination is designed to capitalize on a growing enterprise shift toward AI-driven operational models.

Aiman Ezzat, CEO of Capgemini, said the combination is designed to capture the surge in enterprise demand for Agentic AI, which is transforming how companies manage operations from end to end. He described the merger as a step toward building a new benchmark for Intelligent Operations that leverages automation, data, and domain expertise to deliver superior results at scale.
Keshav R. Murugesh, CEO of WNS, echoed the enthusiasm, calling the deal a strategic leap toward embedding AI at the core of business models. He noted that the combined portfolio would expand Capgemini&#8217;s footprint across industries and enhance its ability to support organizations as they shift from automation to autonomy in operational strategy.
WNS <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/25/04/b44973624/wns-announces-fiscal-2025-fourth-quarter-and-full-year-earnings-provides-guidance-for-fiscal-2026" rel="noreferrer noopener">reported</a> $1.27 billion in revenue for fiscal 2025 and holds long-term contracts with companies like United Airlines and Aviva.
Capgemini expects the deal to increase normalized EPS by 4% in 2026 and 7% by 2027, post-synergies. Estimated annual revenue synergies range between 100 million euros (~$108 million) and 140 million euros (~$151.2 million), with cost savings projected up to 70 million euros (~$75.6 million).
Capgemini is funding the transaction with a 4 billion euros bridge loan, partially backed by internal cash and future debt issuance. The company plans to integrate WNS into its Global Business Services unit, citing a strong cultural fit and complementary capabilities across AI, platforms, and consulting.

Capgemini Doubles Down On Agentic AI With $3.3 Billion WNS Acquisition

In April 2025, the Company <a href="https://c212.net/c/link/?t=0&amp;l=en&amp;o=4462893-1&amp;h=1608642756&amp;u=https%3A%2F%2Fs23.q4cdn.com%2F981382065%2Ffiles%2Fdoc_financials%2F2025%2Fq1%2FDow-1Q25-Earnings-News-Release.pdf&amp;a=announced">announced</a>&nbsp;it had identified three assets in Europe for action across all of its operating segments. On June 30, 2025, Dow's Board of Directors approved restructuring actions to rationalize the Company's global asset footprint, including these three assets as part of its European review, and certain corporate and other assets.
Dow's actions to shut down these assets will result in an Operating EBITDA uplift beginning in 2026, ramping to 50% of the approximate $200&nbsp;million target by year-end 2027 with full delivery by 2029, with a cash outlay of approximately $500&nbsp;million over four years.
As a result of these actions, the Company will record charges ranging from $630&nbsp;million to $790&nbsp;million, for both non-cash items—such as asset write-downs and write-offs—and cash items, such as exit and disposal of assets, as well as severance and related benefit costs.
The shutdown of the assets is expected to begin in mid-2026 and is estimated to be complete by the end of 2027, with potential decommissioning and demolition to continue into 2029 as needed.
Approximately 800 Dow roles will be impacted as a result of these actions. These roles are in addition to the $1&nbsp;billion cost savings actions <a href="https://c212.net/c/link/?t=0&amp;l=en&amp;o=4462893-1&amp;h=4038991573&amp;u=https%3A%2F%2Fcorporate.dow.com%2Fen-us%2Fnews%2Fpress-releases%2Fdow-announces-targeted-actions-to-deliver--1b-in-cost-savings.html&amp;a=announced+in+January">announced in January</a>&nbsp;that included a workforce reduction of approximately 1,500 Dow roles globally.

As President Donald Trump's Big Beautiful Bill is officially signed into law, the bill scraps the $7,500 Federal EV credit on all purchases of new electric vehicles in the U.S.
What Happened: As the incentives are axed, EVs across the board are set to become dearer after September 30, 2025, when the incentives end. On Saturday, Business Insider compiled <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/all-the-evs-set-to-lose-the-federal-tax-credit-2025-7">a</a> list of vehicles set for a price hike from automakers like General Motors Co (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/GM#NYSE">GM</a>), Stellantis (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/STLA#NYSE">STLA</a>), Ford Motor Co (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/F#NYSE">F</a>) and Tesla Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/TSLA#NASDAQ">TSLA</a>).
As for the list of vehicles from GM, it includes EVs from GM like the Chevrolet Blazer, Equinox and Silverado, as well as luxury-focused EVs like the Cadillac Lyriq, Optiq and Vistiq.
Detroit-based automaker Ford's F-150 Lightning pickup truck will get costlier. 
Elon Musk's Tesla vehicles, like Model Y, Model X, the Cybertruck and the Model 3, are also going to cost more.
Why It Matters: The news comes as the new laws axe the federal EV credit, but also scrap the proposed $250 fee annual fee on all EVs. The law is another push in Trump's anti-EV stance.
The bill has caused a considerable stir, with Musk locking horns with Trump over the bill once again and vowing to <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/politics/25/07/46267705/elon-musk-says-america-first-filing-false-and-has-been-reported-to-the-election-commission">found a new political party</a> called the America Party.
However, Musk's decision has been met with criticism both from Trump, who called the idea <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/politics/25/07/46266957/trump-calls-america-party-a-train-wreck-blasts-elon-musk-for-going-completely-off-the-rails-president-says-system-not-designed-for-a-third-player">a "train wreck"</a> as well as experts, who suggest the move could be <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/tech/25/07/46268694/elon-musks-america-party-plans-conflict-with-his-full-time-responsibilities-as-tesla-ceo-says-former-doge-advisor">detrimental to Tesla</a>.
Interestingly, Tesla stock <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/tech/25/07/46267743/tesla-shares-fall-over-5-in-overnight-trading-as-elon-musk-jumps-back-into-politics">has fallen over 5%</a> in overnight trading following Musk's announcements regarding the party and his increasing involvement in politics.

As Trump's 'Big, Beautiful Bill' Is Signed Into Law, These EVs From Tesla, GM And Ford Will Become More Expensive: Report

Apogee Therapeutics, Inc., (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/APGE#NASDAQ">APGE</a>), a clinical-stage biotechnology company advancing optimized, novel biologics with potential for differentiated efficacy and dosing in the largest inflammatory and immunology (I&amp;I) markets, today announced positive 16-week data from Part A of the Phase 2 APEX clinical trial of APG777, a potential best-in-class anti-IL-13 antibody, in patients with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis (AD).
"With two out of every three patients treated with APG777 achieving EASI-75 response at Week 16 in the Phase 2 APEX Part A trial, APG777 demonstrated the highest EASI-75 response rate both on a topline and placebo-adjusted basis for any biologic in a global study to date, reinforcing its potential best-in-class profile for patients with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis," said Michael Henderson, M.D., Chief Executive Officer of Apogee. "APG777 has the potential to set a new standard of care by offering improved clinical responses with transformational quarterly or better maintenance dosing — benefitting patients, providers, and payers. Today's results bring us closer to that vision, and we believe further de-risks APG777's path to approval. APEX Phase 2 Part A Key 16-Week Results
The Phase 2 APEX clinical trial is a randomized, placebo-controlled study evaluating APG777 in patients with moderate-to-severe AD. Part A of the trial enrolled 123 adult patients who were randomized 2:1 to APG777 versus placebo and received an induction regimen dosing of 720mg at Weeks 0 and 2, followed by 360mg at Weeks 4 and 12. Patients benefiting from treatment continued maintenance dosing, evaluating 3- or 6-month dosing of APG777. The primary endpoint of Part A is mean percentage change in Eczema Area Severity Index (EASI) score from baseline at Week 16. Secondary endpoints include EASI-75, EASI-90, Validated Investigator Global Assessment (IGA) 0/1 and Itch Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) at Week 16.
Initial 16-week findings from APEX Part A include efficacy results, which compare favorably versus standard of care across endpoints as well as rapid onset of itch relief and lesion reduction, and a favorable safety profile consistent with its class:

<li>The trial met its primary endpoint, with APG777 showing significantly greater least squares mean percent change from baseline at Week 16 with an EASI reduction of 71.0% compared to placebo of 33.8% (p &lt; 0.001). &nbsp;</li>
<li>Highest absolute and placebo-adjusted EASI-75 of any biologic with 66.9% of participants treated with APG777 achieving EASI-75 compared to 24.6% on placebo (p &lt; 0.001) 
<ul>
<li>Pre-specified sensitivity analysis showed consistent results in both moderate and severe patients</li>
<li>Additionally, an exposure-response relationship was observed, with patients in the two highest quartiles of exposures achieving the highest EASI-75 response at Week 16, 83.3% for quartile three and 89.5% for quartile four

<li>APEX Part B is testing a higher dose of APG777, which is projected to achieve average exposures in line with the highest quartile of exposures from Part A</li>

Apogee Therapeutics' APG777 Shows Results in Atopic Dermatitis Trial

Eshallgo Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/EHGO#NASDAQ">EHGO</a>), a leading provider of integrated office solutions in China, today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Shanghai ESHALLGO Enterprise Development (Group) Co., Ltd. ("ESHALLGO Group"), has entered into a nationwide strategic partnership agreement (the "Agreement") with Tianjin Photonetco Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. ("Photonetco"), one of China's top three office equipment manufacturers.

Some of the world's biggest cryptocurrency exchanges have started shifting their business on-chain, blending CEX stability with features only DEX users typically have access to.
A hybrid model is emerging that delivers blockchain benefits through a familiar TradFi UI: User-friendly in the front, blockchain-powered in the back. 
Will it be enough to de-risk DeFi for a mainstream finance audience?
<h1 class="wp-block-heading">Leaving the conventional brokerage model&nbsp;behind</h1>
Coinbase, Bybit, and Binance have all announced changes that weave Web3 protocols into their Web2 platforms.
Why would they want to risk venturing on-chain? Decentralized finance protocols can be notoriously difficult for end users, and there are long-standing concerns about security and regulatory oversight in this space.
The truth is that&nbsp;DeFi is growing too quickly to ignore, worth an estimated $20 billion last year and&nbsp;<a href="https://www.grandviewresearch.com/industry-analysis/decentralized-finance-market-report" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">forecast to reach $230 billion by 2030</a> — an annual CAGR of 50%.
<a href="https://www.grandviewresearch.com/industry-analysis/cryptocurrency-exchange-platform-market-report" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">Double-digit CAGR</a>&nbsp;is in the cards for CEXs too. But DeFi has almost double the momentum. They don't want to be left behind.
And that's a real risk. Centralized exchanges are basically modelled on conventional brokerages. They operate in ways that are familiar to everyday retail traders, but their technical infrastructure makes it hard to penetrate the on-chain space.
Recent announcements suggest the big CEXs are moving on from being matching platforms and evolving into deeply-integrated trading networks that fuse on-chain and off-chain benefits:
<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Coinbase Offers DEX Access Through Its&nbsp;CEX</h2>
On June 12, 2025, Coinbase announced it was integrating DEXs on its proprietary Base blockchain with its centralized exchange business, with plans in the pipeline to add DEXs from other blockchains.
For end users, the move opens up access to thousands of altcoins but without Ethereum's (ETH) gas fees, though Coinbase's trading fee structure still comes into play.
