U.S. stocks were higher, with the Dow Jones index gaining around 500 points on Monday.
Shares of Sage Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/SAGE#NASDAQ">SAGE</a>) rose sharply during Monday's session after Supernus Pharmaceuticals <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/SAGE">agreed to acquire the company</a>.
Supernus Pharmaceuticals on Monday agreed to acquire Sage Therapeutics for $12.00 per share in cash, or an aggregate of up to approximately $795 million.
The deal consideration includes $8.50 per share in cash (or an aggregate of approximately $561 million) plus one non-tradable contingent value right (CVR) collectively worth up to $3.50 per share in cash (or an aggregate of approximately $234 million).
Sage Therapeutics shares climbed 35.6% to $9.09 on Monday.

While President Donald Trump's executive orders have previously ruffled political and ideological feathers, some of them have also positively influenced the financial markets. Case in point is the uranium sector. Last month,<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/government/regulations/25/05/45608637/uranium-mining-stocks-rally-after-trumps-nuclear-revival-order-ignites-industry-optimism"> Trump signed a sweeping executive order</a> aimed at rebuilding America's nuclear energy capacity while also reducing dependency on foreign-sourced uranium. The move marks the biggest federal intervention in nuclear power policy in decades, subsequently reinvigorating uranium producers.
Indeed, the underlying commodity has represented one of the hottest segments in the equities arena recently. For example, Cameco Corp (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/CCJ#NYSE">CCJ</a>) – the world's largest publicly traded uranium company – is up over 29% in the trailing month since June 5. Smaller entities in the space, such as Uranium Energy Corp. (AMEX:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/UEC#AMEX">UEC</a>), have also printed double-digit percentage spikes during the aforementioned period.

Regarding the URNM ETF, its price action breached its 50 DMA on April 24 of this year and shot past the 200 DMA on May 23. As of June 5, the uranium fund is more than 4% above its longer-running moving average.

In other words, market breadth facilitates projectable, probabilistic analyses — and these analyses are falsifiable, opening the door to peer review.
In the past two months, the URNM ETF posted five up weeks and five down weeks, with a net positive trajectory across the 10-week period. This "5-5-U" sequence has occurred 32 times since URNM's public market debut. In 62.5% of cases, the following week's price action results in upside, with a median return of 2.18%.
As a baseline, the chance that a long position will be profitable in the Sprott Uranium Miners ETF is 51.92%. Therefore, investors may consider a combination of technical analysis and market breadth data to help determine entry and exit strategies.

The anticipated executive orders are expected to direct federal agencies to expedite permitting and siting of new nuclear facilities and instruct the Departments of Energy and Defense to identify federal lands and facilities suitable for nuclear deployment, bypassing some of the current Nuclear Regulatory Commission hurdles.
Expert Ideas: Ives pointed to Oklo as a primary beneficiary of Trump's policy changes. It plans to submit a combined license application by the end of 2025 and deploy its first commercial power plant by 2027. Increased federal support and streamlined regulation could accelerate this.
Oklo's business model of building, owning and operating its own reactors while selling power directly to customers under long-term contracts positions it well for recurring revenues and addresses common pain points in nuclear projects, Ives said.&nbsp;
He sees Oklo as "set to be a major player" in the "AI Revolution datacenter buildout."
Wedbush maintained an Outperform rating on Oklo stock and raised its price target from $45 to $55.

Oklo Stock To Go Nuclear? Analyst Calls It A 'Major AI Revolution Player'

U.S. stocks were lower, with the Dow Jones index falling around 300 points on Friday.
Shares of Frontline plc (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/FRO#NYSE">FRO</a>) rose during Friday's session <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/FRO/earnings">following first-quarter results</a>.
The company reported revenue of $427.9 million, surpassing the $264.2 million consensus. Adjusted EPS declined to 18 cents from 62 cents a year ago, missing the consensus of 23 cents.
Frontline shares gained 3.7% to $17.81 on Friday.
