As Tariffs Bite Apple, Samsung's Global Manufacturing Network Gains Edge In US-China Trade War

ASML Holding (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/ASML#NASDAQ">ASML</a>)&nbsp;reported a <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/topic/chips" rel="noreferrer noopener">fiscal first-quarter 2025</a> report on Wednesday.
The chip equipment company reported quarterly net sales of €7.74 billion ($8.14 billion), up 46.3% year over year. However, the quarterly net sales missed the <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/25/04/g44831110/asml-reports-7-7-billion-total-net-sales-and-2-4-billion-net-income-in-q1-2025" rel="noreferrer noopener">analyst consensus estimate of €7.82 billion</a>.
