KKR Offers To Takeover Telecom Italia At 46% Premium

However, analysts were estimating a profit of $0.16 per share, on revenue of $158.1 million.

Alvarion Ltd (NASDAQ: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/alvr#NASDAQ">ALVR</a>) reported a narrower fourth-quarter net loss. Alvarion posted a quarterly loss, excluding one-time items, of $0.04 per share, versus a year-ago loss of $0.18 per share. Alvarion earlier expected a loss of $0.03 to $0.04 per share. Alvarion's revenue dropped 19% to $41.2 million. Its quarterly shipments climbed 3% versus the third quarter.
