To pursue its goal, the fund generally invests in stocks that are included in the Dow Jones U.S. Large-Cap Total Stock Market Index. The index includes the large-cap portion of the Dow Jones U.S. Total Stock Market Index actually available to investors in the marketplace. The Dow Jones U.S. Large-Cap Total Stock Market Index includes the components ranked 1-750 by full market capitalization. The index is a float-adjusted market capitalization weighted index. As of August 31, 2023, the index was composed of 761 stocks. Schwab U.S. Large-Cap ETF and the Schwab U.S. Large-Cap Growth ETF may become non-diversified, as defined under the 1940 Act, with respect to investments in an issuer or several issuers to the extent necessary to approximate the composition of the index each fund seeks to track to the extent permitted by law or regulatory relief.
