Cardone will encourage someone who's earning $100,000 per year to figure out how they can earn $1 million per year instead of aspiring to earn $110,000 per year.
Ambitious goals offer more motivation. People work harder if the reward is justified, while a small 10% salary increase may not prompt the same level of effort and focus. Setting higher goals also ties into building a nest egg that is 10X higher than what you think you need. If you think a $2 million nest egg is enough, aim for a $20 million nest egg. That's Cardone's mentality.
Even if you don't end up with a $20 million nest egg, setting that as a target can help you exceed a $2 million nest egg. Setting ambitious goals will also make you think more carefully about how you spend your time and who you choose to spend time with.

Raising your goals will invite you to take more action toward your goals. This outcome is more valuable than most books or coaching calls, and you can apply it to any area of your life.
However, you should only raise goals that you can control, such as your annual income and how much you contribute to your portfolio. If you have a $1 million portfolio and want it to become a $5 million portfolio in three years, that goal can lead to high-risk investments that produce significant losses.
Instead of setting a goal like having a $1 million portfolio turn into a $5 million portfolio within a few years, focus on contributing a set amount of dollars each month. The idea is that achieving your portfolio contribution goal should help you reach your end goal, but you shouldn't chase speculative investments if you fall behind your net worth goal.

Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) and other leaders, as the once-close relationship between the two men unravels.
What Happened: The rift between Musk and Trump reached a boiling point this week, following Musk's vocal criticisms of Trump's legislative agenda.

Speaking <a href="https://edition.cnn.com/politics/live-news/trump-president-administration-news-06-05-25">to</a> CNN, Johnson called Musk's public attacks on Trump "not helpful," noting, "Elon is a friend&#8230; This isn't personal. Policy differences should not be personal."
However, after leaving the House floor, Johnson acknowledged the obvious: "It clearly is personal" between Musk and Trump.
Rep. Troy Nehls (R-Texas) called on Musk to halt his attacks on Trump, saying, "This tit-for-tat … isn't helping." While acknowledging Musk's talents, Nehls criticized his remarks as "irresponsible" and warned, "You've lost your mind," the report noted.
Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.), who voted against Trump's domestic policy bill, cautioned that the legislation is already "on life support" and could be jeopardized further in the Senate.
Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.) suggested the clash was inevitable, adding, "At some point it falls on deaf ears… people are tired of hearing it."
Trying to defuse tensions, Rep. Warren Davidson (R-Ohio) said he's invited Trump, Musk, Speaker Johnson, Vice President JD Vance, and Massie to a private dinner to "mend fences," but declined to say who has responded, the report added.

Ramsey even gave him the script for the difficult conversation: &#8220;Mom, I love you, and I&#8217;ve done more for you than I should have, and I put myself and my future family in jeopardy because of you, and you continue to misbehave with this. My bills are not being paid, you&#8217;re destroying my credit and my future. We&#8217;re selling the house. Little brother, if you don&#8217;t want to sell it, you can buy me out.&#8221;
Ramsey also made it clear that the brother, who co-owns the home, should either buy him out or step aside. &#8220;If he doesn&#8217;t want to sell the house, then it&#8217;s going to be a civil court action and the judge is going to demand that the partnership be dissolved by the selling of the house,&#8221; Ramsey said.
&#8220;We&#8217;re selling the house. I&#8217;m not asking—we&#8217;re telling you. This is what we&#8217;re doing,&#8221; Ramsey added.
