A new survey shows whether investors are ready for Tesla to part ways with the dynamic CEO.
What Happened: Tesla stock <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/politics/25/06/45821929/trump-vs-musk-president-selling-his-tesla-is-targeting-robotaxis-next">suffered its largest </a>one-day market capitalization decline with a $152 billion drop after Musk's feud with Trump.
The drop continues a highly volatile year for Tesla stock, with rises and falls related to Musk's push into politics and Trump&#8217;s 2024 election win.
While a close friendship between Trump and Musk was once viewed as a catalyst for Tesla&#8217;s stock price to go up, it also led to drops, with Tesla suffering brand damage and seeing protests due to Musk's political push.
A feud between Trump and Musk could send Tesla shares down even more in the future. Benzinga recently polled readers about the electric vehicle company&#8217;s future.
"The battle with Donald Trump could hurt Tesla&#8217;s brand value and image even more as the company looks to recover from a rough year that saw protests and declining sales. Do you think Tesla&#8217;s Board of Directors should replace Musk as CEO?" Benzinga asked.

Why It's Important: A recent Wall Street Journal report suggested Tesla's board had discussed the possibility of moving <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/management/25/05/45155242/elon-musk-out-as-tesla-ceo-in-2025-prediction-markets-put-little-faith-in-wsj-report-here-are-the-top-replacement-picks">on from Musk.</a>
Musk has indicated that his time in the White House is over, and he will be spending significant time helping to shape Tesla&#8217;s future. This coincides with the launch of Robotaxis in Texas this month.
The Tesla CEO has said he plans to be at Tesla for at least<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/equities/25/05/45126370/elon-musk-will-remain-tesla-ceo-for-at-least-5-years-says-dan-ives-as-company-calls-replacement-rumors-absolutely-false"> five more years, </a>which would mean the Board of Directors would have to make a change to get rid of him.
The board may be unwilling to get rid of the person who has meant so much to the company, even with recent controversy and high share price volatility.
Prediction market <a href="https://polymarket.com/event/musk-out-as-tesla-ceo-in-2025?tid=1749487851486">Polymarket </a>currently has a 15% chance that Musk is out as the Tesla CEO In 2025. The odds hit 21% on June 5 as the feud with Trump escalated.
On the prediction market <a href="https://kalshi.com/markets/kxteslaceochange/new-tesla-ceo" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kalshi</a>, there is a 14% chance that Musk will be out as the Tesla CEO this year. The odds hit 21% on June 6.

As the feud continues on, here's a look at where Benzinga readers stand.
What Happened: A <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/politics/25/06/45821929/trump-vs-musk-president-selling-his-tesla-is-targeting-robotaxis-next">back-and-forth</a> between Musk and Trump across social media platforms saw the two well-known individuals escalate a feud related to differences on the "Big Beautiful Bill."
The feud comes after Musk left his White House position working for the Department of Government Efficiency to spend more time working on his other companies, such as Tesla.
Benzinga recently asked readers who they side with in the battle, which includes Musk criticizing the new debt the country will take on if the bill that Trump supports is passed by Congress.
"In the feud between Donald Trump and Elon Musk, who are you more likely to publicly support?" Benzinga asked.

Why It's Important: Over the weekend, the battle between Musk and Trump minimized some with the Tesla CEO deleting some of his tweets that brought some claims against the current president. Tweets about ending the SpaceX Dragon program were also deleted.
A battle between Trump and Musk over the long run could see many losers, including the country's space program and the launch of robotaxis, with Musk a leader in both sectors and Trump able to slow down progress made by the billionaire.
Tesla stock saw its largest one-day market capitalization drop last week on the heels of the feud. 
Tesla stock trades up 1.61% at $299.72 at publication on Monday versus a 52-week trading range of $167.42 to $488.54. The stock has fallen 15% over the last five days and is down 22% year-to-date in 2025.

Reuters notes that the insurance giant has been working to exit Latin America since 2022, but recent developments have heightened the urgency of its plans.
UnitedHealth's aggressive growth strategy under Witty exposed the healthcare giant to mounting regulatory scrutiny, soaring costs, and a&nbsp;<a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/general/health-care" rel="noreferrer noopener">shifting Medicare landscape</a>.
Hemsley is stepping forward to acknowledge the fallout and chart a new course, promising a comprehensive review of some of the company's most controversial practices.
Citing individuals familiar with the matter, Reuters reported UnitedHealth had received four non-binding bids for Banmedica, which operates in Colombia and Chile. The bids reportedly value the business at approximately $1 billion.
Interested parties include Acon Investments, Patria Investments, Christus Health, and Auna, with the latter exploring a financial partnership to support its offer.
The company aims to set a July deadline for binding proposals for Banmedica, which generates more than $200 million in annual EBITDA.
Banmedica <a target="_blank" href="https://www.financierworldwide.com/fw-news/2018/1/2/unitedhealth-to-acquire-banmdica" rel="noreferrer noopener">was</a> acquired in 2018 as part of UnitedHealth's plan to expand across South America. Then, CEO David Wichmann touted the deal as a foundation for growth for decades. However, financial challenges led the company to reverse.
UnitedHealth previously exited Brazil in late 2023 and Peru earlier this year.
UnitedHealth recorded an $8.3 billion loss tied to its South American operations—$7.1 billion from Brazil and $1.2 billion from Banmedica.
Though Banmedica remains profitable, with over 2.1 million insurance members and about 4 million patient visits annually across its 13 hospitals and 143 medical centers, UnitedHealth now views it as too small to align with its long-term strategic goals.

Under the agreement, Cardinal will serve as an authorized distributor of record for Citius Oncology providing specialty pharmaceutical distribution services. &#8220;This agreement marks a key step forward in our launch readiness efforts,&#8221; said Leonard Mazur, chairman and CEO of Citius Oncology and Citius Pharmaceuticals.

Merck &amp; Co., Inc. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/MRK#NYSE">MRK</a>) on Monday shared topline results from the first two of three Phase 3 clinical trials evaluating the safety and efficacy of enlicitide decanoate, an investigational, oral proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 9 (PCSK9) inhibitor for hyperlipidemia on lipid-lowering therapies, including <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/general/health-care" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">at least a statin</a>.
Hyperlipidemia&nbsp;refers to having high levels of lipids (fats) in the blood, including cholesterol and triglycerides.&nbsp;It&#8217;s a condition that can increase the risk of heart disease and other health problems.&nbsp;
The CORALreef HeFH and CORALreef AddOn trials met their primary and all key secondary endpoints, demonstrating statistically significant and clinically meaningful greater reductions in low-density lipoprotein <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/25/06/b45832810/merck-announces-positive-topline-results-from-the-first-two-phase-3-coralreef-trials-evaluating-en" rel="noreferrer noopener">cholesterol (LDL-C) for</a>:

<li>Enlicitide compared to placebo (CORALreef HeFH) and other oral non-statin therapies (CORALreef AddOn).</li>
<li>There were no clinically meaningful differences in incidences of adverse events (AE) and serious adverse events (SAE) in either trial.</li>

The efficacy and safety of enlicitide are being evaluated through the comprehensive&nbsp;CORALreef Phase 3 clinical development program, which <a target="_blank" href="https://www.merck.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/124/2025/06/CORALreef_Clinical_Trial_Explainer.pdf" rel="noreferrer noopener">aims</a> to enroll approximately 17,000 patients across several trials, including two large ongoing trials, CORALreef Lipids and CORALreef Outcomes.
