Non-online marketing revenue&nbsp;grew 40% Y/Y to&nbsp;$1.30 billion, driven by the AI Cloud business.&nbsp;AI Cloud business grew by 42% during the quarter.
Revenue from&nbsp;IQIYI, Inc&nbsp;(NASDAQ:&nbsp;IQ) was $990.3 million, beating the analyst consensus estimate of $973.7 million.&nbsp;This is a&nbsp;9.97% decrease over sales of&nbsp;$1.10 billion&nbsp;in the same period last year.
Baidu&#8217;s SG&amp;A expenses were $815 million, up 10% Y/Y, primarily due to an increase in channel spending and promotional marketing expenses. R&amp;D expenses declined 15% Y/Y to $626 million.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Baidu&#8217;s adjusted EBITDA margin declined by 400 bps to 22%, and its Core adjusted EBITDA margin&nbsp;decreased by 400 bps to 26%.
As of March 31, 2025, Baidu had $19.6 billion in cash and equivalents. Free cash flow was an outflow of $1.23 billion, and free cash flow excluding iQIYI was an outflow of $1.27 billion, mainly due to an increase of investment in AI business.
Baidu co-founder and CEO Robin Li said the performance of its AI Cloud business underscores the growing market recognition of full-stack AI products and solutions with a highly competitive price-performance advantage. It also achieved a pivotal milestone in its robotaxi business, as Apollo Go expanded internationally by entering&nbsp;Dubai&nbsp;and&nbsp;Abu Dhabi, Li added.

This UnitedHealth Group Analyst Turns Bearish; Here Are Top 3 Downgrades For Wednesday

Bilibili Inc. ("Bilibili" or the "Company") (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/BILI#NASDAQ">BILI</a>), an iconic brand and a leading video community for young generations in China, today announced the pricing of the separate SEC-registered underwritten offering of its Class Z ordinary shares, par value US$0.0001 per share (the "Concurrent Delta Offering").
Concurrently, the Company announced pricing of the&nbsp;upsized offering (the "Notes Offering") of US$600 million in aggregate principal amount of convertible senior notes due 2030 (the "Notes") pursuant to Rule 144A under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended. The Company intends to grant the initial purchasers in the Notes Offering a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional US$90 million in principal amount of the Notes.
In connection with the Notes Offering, the Company announced the Concurrent Delta Offering, under which&nbsp;10,281,240 of the Company's Class Z ordinary shares, that have been borrowed from non-affiliate third parties are being offered in a separate underwritten offering by Goldman Sachs &amp; Co. LLC and Morgan Stanley Asia Limited (the "Underwriters"), each acting severally on behalf of itself and/or its respective affiliates, at HK$140.10 per Class Z ordinary share. The Underwriters will use the resulting short position to facilitate hedging transactions by certain investors subscribing for the Notes, who employ a convertible arbitrage strategy (the "Convertible Arbitrage Investors"). The Company has been advised that each Underwriter is concurrently entering into off-market privately negotiated derivative transactions relating to the Class Z ordinary shares, enabling Convertible Arbitrage Investors to establish their initial short positions in the Class Z ordinary shares to hedge market risk in the Notes. The number of Class Z ordinary shares subject to the Concurrent Delta Offering generally corresponds to such initial short positions of the Convertible Arbitrage Investors. The digital asset has gone from fringe experiment to national reserve asset in a remarkably short time, and the numbers are starting to reflect a generational shift in how Americans think about wealth preservation.

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">BTC&#8217;s 130% Vs. Gold&#8217;s 62% Surge Since Bitcoin ETF Approval</h2>
The January 2024 approval of 11 spot Bitcoin ETFs by the SEC gave crypto legitimacy and accessibility — two hurdles that had long kept it in the shadow of traditional assets like gold. Since then, Bitcoin has surged 130%, while the S&amp;P 500 is up around 24%, and the SPDR Gold Trust (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/GLD#NYSE">GLD</a>) — the popular ETF tracking gold, has risen about 62% since then.
So what's behind Bitcoin's breakout from niche to mainstream?
For one, ease of access. Gold may be timeless, but it doesn't sit neatly in your smartphone. Meanwhile, Bitcoin can be purchased on any brokerage app, held in cold storage, or allocated through ETFs. Younger investors, less tied to the historical narrative of gold as the ultimate safe haven, seem to be placing their trust in code over coins.
From an investor standpoint, the implications are clear: Bitcoin is no longer just a speculative asset. It&#8217;s become a real contender for portfolio diversification — especially among younger demographics who view it as both a hedge and a growth play. Meanwhile, gold continues to hold its ground, but it's no longer the undisputed king of the &#8220;store-of-value&#8221; hill.
Whether Bitcoin holds this lead remains to be seen. But if asset flows and ETF inflows are any indication, America's digital gold rush is still gaining momentum — one block at a time.

From Bars To Blocks: Bitcoin Now Outshines Gold In American Wallets

WeRide Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/WRD#NASDAQ">WRD</a>) shares are trading higher in <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/movers" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">the premarket session on Wednesday</a> following its first-quarter financial results.
The company recorded $10 million in total revenue in the first quarter of 2025, representing a 1.8% increase <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/25/05/g45536827/weride-announces-plan-to-expand-commercial-robotaxi-services-to-15-additional-cities-globally" rel="noreferrer noopener">on a year-over-year basis</a>.
Jennifer Li, WeRide&#8217;s CFO, said this quarter&#8217;s revenue growth reflects improving commercial traction, supported by multiple expansions and new deployments in international territories in the Middle East and Europe.
Product revenue increased to $1.3 million, thanks to the increase in the sales of robotaxis and robosweepers in the first quarter.

WeRide&#8217;s robotaxi business reached $2.2 million in the first quarter, 22.3% of total revenue, up from 11.9% in the year-ago period.
The gross profit margin was 35% in the quarter under review, relatively stable compared to the fourth quarter of 2024.
Tony Han, WeRide&#8217;s Founder, Chairman, and CEO, commented, &#8220;With over 1,200 autonomous driving vehicles running on the road and fully driverless commercial operations in motion, we&#8217;re making autonomous driving ever more accessible and affordable to riders around the world.&#8221;
&#8220;In addition, we are advancing our end-to-end mass-market ADAS solutions that bring real value to OEMs today. These efforts position WeRide as a global leader in shaping the future of autonomous mobility,&#8221; he added.
WeRide reported a quarterly diluted net loss per ADS of 18 cents. As of March 31, the company had $610.3 million in cash and equivalents.
In a separate release, the company has authorized a share repurchase program, under which it may repurchase up to $100 million of its Class A ordinary <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/25/05/g45536826/weride-inc-announces-us-100-million-share-repurchase-program" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">shares over the next 12 months</a>.
&#8220;The adoption of the share repurchase program reflects our confidence in our business fundamentals, financial health, and long-term outlook,&#8221; Li added.
The company expects to fund the repurchases out of its existing cash balance. WeRide exited the first quarter with cash and equivalents worth $610.3 million.
WeRide said it increased its total fleet size to over 1,200 units in the first quarter of 2025. It accumulated more than 2,000 days in public operations with zero regulatory discipline for autonomous driving system failure.
WeRide and Uber Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/UBER#NYSE">UBER</a>) have recently formed a significant partnership to expand commercial robotaxi services. This collaboration aims to introduce services to 15 new cities, building on their successful deployment in Abu Dhabi and upcoming launch in Dubai. Uber has committed an additional $100 million equity investment in WeRide, supplementing its previous investments, the company said.
