GE Aerospace Lands Major Korean Air Deal: GEnx And GE9X Engines To Power New Boeing Fleet

On Monday, the company announced the official opening of XEOS, a cutting-edge engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility in <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/25/03/n44455045/xeos-inaugurates-cfm-leap-maintenance-in-poland" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Środa Śląska, near Wrocław</a>.
XEOS is a 35,000 square meter facility equipped with a range of advanced features, including a main hall for engine and module assembly and disassembly, an engine training center, and a state-of-the-art test cell.
The facility utilizes GE Aerospace&#8217;s proprietary lean operating system, FLIGHT DECK, incorporating the latest best practices in design and operations.

Goldman Sachs analyst Noah Poponak has a price forecast of $213 and a Buy rating for Boeing Company (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/BA#NYSE">BA</a>) amid Wednesday&#8217;s announcement of<a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/BA/analyst-ratings" rel="noreferrer noopener"> monthly deliveries update</a>.
The company reported 44 airplane deliveries for February, &nbsp;surpassing the <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/general/travel/25/03/44262766/boeing-shares-are-up-today-whats-going-on" rel="noreferrer noopener">delivery numbers&nbsp;from early 2024</a>.
In particular, Boeing delivered 32 planes from its Renton-built 737 family, including 31 of its 737 MAX jets. It also booked 13 new gross orders for the 737 MAX in February.
The analyst notes that new aircraft orders remained strong, with a substantial new aircraft order backlog relative to supply.
February shows steady improvements after a strong January, and Boeing appears on track for its planned production ramp-up in 2025, according to the analyst.
Poponak expects production volumes to continue improving throughout 2025.
The analyst estimates revenue of $82.2 billion in FY25, $95.3 billion in FY26, and $105.1 billion in FY27.

At the Barclays Industrial Select Conference, Ortberg stated that they aim to reach 38 &#8216;737 jets&#8217; per month for 2-3 months before requesting a rate increase from the FAA, the report adds.

RTX's operating cash flow for the&nbsp;fourth quarter&nbsp;totaled&nbsp;$1.6&nbsp;billion and, a free cash flow stood at $0.5&nbsp;billion.
The company returned&nbsp;$3.7&nbsp;billion&nbsp;of capital to shareholders this quarter, bringing the total capital returned since the merger to over&nbsp;$33 billion in the year.

<li>Collins Aerospace: Sales were $7.537 billion (+6% Y/Y), led by a 13% Y/Y increase in defense and 12% Y/Y growth in commercial aftermarket. This was partially offset by a 6% decline in commercial OE sales. Adjusted operating profit surged 17% Y/Y to $1.207 billion, aided by higher commercial aftermarket and defense volume.</li>
<li>Pratt &amp; Whitney: Sales were $7.569 billion (+18% Y/Y), driven by a 17% Y/Y increase in commercial aftermarket, 8% Y/Y military growth, and a 31% Y/Y rise in commercial OE. Adjusted operating profit escalated 77% Y/Y to $717 million in the quarter.</li>
<li>Raytheon: Sales rose 4% Y/Y to $7.157 billion on higher volume in land and air defense systems, including Global Patriot, NASAMS, and counter-UAS programs, along with the restart of contracts with a Middle Eastern customer. Excluding the divestiture, sales rose 10% Y/Y. The adjusted operating profit upped 18% Y/Y to $728 million in the quarter. At the end of the quarter, the backlog was $218 billion, of which $125 billion was from commercial aerospace and $93 billion was from defense.</li>

Outlook&nbsp;2025: RTX expects adjusted sales of&nbsp;$83.0 billion-$84.0 billion vs. the consensus of&nbsp;$84.47 billion and adj. EPS of &nbsp;$6.00-$6.15&nbsp;<a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/calendars/guidance" rel="noreferrer noopener">vs.&nbsp;street view of $6.07</a>.
The company expects free cash flow&nbsp;of $7.0&nbsp;billion&nbsp;&#8211;&nbsp;$7.5 billion&nbsp;for the year.

GE Aerospace&nbsp;expects FY25 adjusted revenue growth in the low double digits and adjusted EPS of&nbsp;$5.10 – 5.45<a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/calendars/guidance" rel="noreferrer noopener"> vs. the&nbsp;$5.22&nbsp;consensus</a>.
The analyst writes that GE Aerospace&#8217;s results exceeded Factset&#8217;s consensus on revenue, segment operating margin, EPS, and free cash.
According to the analyst, Commercial Engines exceeded consensus expectations on revenue and margin, and Defense was slightly ahead on both revenue and margin.
Poponak says that the initial 2025 guidance is above consensus at the high of the ranges.&nbsp;&nbsp;
The analyst rates the company Buy <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/GE/analyst-ratings" rel="noreferrer noopener">with a price target of $204</a>.

GE Aerospace Q4 Earnings: EPS Beat, Dividend And Stock Buyback Hike, Strong FY25 Outlook And More

Textron Inc&nbsp;(NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/TXT#NYSE">TXT</a>) shares are trading lower after the company <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/25/01/b43122702/textron-reports-fourth-quarter-2024-results-announces-2025-financial-outlook" rel="noreferrer noopener">reported&nbsp;fourth-quarter&nbsp;results</a>.
Sales grew to&nbsp;$3.613 billion, missing the consensus of&nbsp;$3.81 billion, although adjusted EPS of&nbsp;$1.34 was <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/earnings" rel="noreferrer noopener">in line with the consensus</a>.
Textron Aviation&#8217;s revenues stood at&nbsp;$1.3&nbsp;billion, down&nbsp;$242&nbsp;million&nbsp;year-over-year on lower volume and mix of&nbsp;$282&nbsp;million. Textron Aviation&#8217;s backlog came in at&nbsp;$7.8&nbsp;billion.&nbsp;
Bell revenues stood at $1.1 billion, up&nbsp;$58&nbsp;million&nbsp;Y/Y, on higher military and support program revenues of $67 million mainly led by higher volume on the FLRAA program. Bell backlog stood at&nbsp;$7.5 billion.
Industrial revenues stood at&nbsp;$869&nbsp;million&nbsp;(down $92 million&nbsp;Y/Y), owing to lower volume.
For FY24, the operating cash flow of the manufacturing group was&nbsp;$1.0 billion. As of December 28, cash and cash equivalents stood at&nbsp;$1.39 billion.
In the fourth quarter, Textron repurchased shares worth $232 million, resulting in 2024 share repurchases of $1.1 billion.
In December, Textron disclosed a strategic review of its powersports product line within the Industrial segment, leading to the indefinite suspension of production.

Textron projects cash flow from continuing operations of the manufacturing group of&nbsp;$1.2 billion and $1.3 billion.
