Musk publicly corrected Dalio's statement, using data from Grok, his AI chatbot. This sparked a short conversation between two of the biggest names in business and finance.

In an <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0j1gcGD5DrA">interview</a> with Tucker Carlson on Feb. 21, Dalio suggested that China controls 33% of global manufacturing and asserted that the U.S. would &#8220;never catch up to China in manufacturing in our lifetimes.&#8221; He pointed out that China is not just leading in sheer production numbers but also in robotics, chip production, and AI applications.

Musk, however, wasn't convinced. He took to X to challenge Dalio's data, <a href="https://x.com/elonmusk/status/1894524543537999892">saying</a>, &#8220;Perhaps Ray Dalio has different data, but Grok thinks US, Europe &amp; Japan manufacturing output is significantly higher than China.&#8221;
Musk also shared a link to Grok's analysis, which suggested a different picture of global manufacturing output.
<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Dalio&#8217;s Response</h2>
Dalio quickly <a href="https://x.com/RayDalio/status/1894775037313327219">responded</a>, thanking Musk for the correction and admitting he had been &#8220;a bit sloppy.&#8221; He clarified that he had meant to say China's manufacturing output is greater than that of the U.S., Germany, and Japan combined, rather than all of Europe. However, he maintained that China remains the dominant force in global manufacturing.

He broke it down with numbers:

Dalio further argued that if you factor in lower production costs in China, the country's real influence in global manufacturing is even more significant. He even praised Musk&#8217;s AI assistant, saying, &#8220;By the way, I thought Grok's answer and analysis on this were great.&#8221;

Dalio didn't stop at manufacturing. He used the exchange to raise concerns about the U.S. budget deficit, warning that unless it is brought down to 3% of GDP, the U.S. could face major economic problems. According to him, &#8220;If we don't get the US budget deficit down to about 3% of GDP, there will be too much supply of US bonds relative to the demand for them, which will produce real problems.&#8221;
He then asked Musk for his thoughts, inviting further discussion.

SPDR S&amp;P 500 ETF Trust (SPY)
The SPY is currently trading near our key level of 560.83. For the bulls, we want to see an initial push to 561.90. If buyers can maintain strength above this level, the next upside target is 563.23. Holding this level as support during regular trading hours increases the probability of a further move up to 564.29. Should momentum remain strong, the high bull target for SPY today is 565.38.
If 560.83 fails to hold as support, we anticipate the bears will drive the price down to 559.75. Further weakness could result in a test of 558.32. Should selling pressure intensify and break this level, the next significant support is found at 557.44. In the case of an aggressive sell-off, we expect SPY to reach its low bear target of 556.27.
Invesco QQQ Trust Series 1 (QQQ)
The Q&#8217;s are currently auctioning near our level of 474.66. For the bulls, we want to see buyers step in and maintain support here. If the auction remains constructive, the next level of interest is 476.85. A breakout above this area opens the door for a test of 479.03. If buyers continue to dominate the session, we expect to see a push toward 481.73, with a high bull target of 483.95.
If 474.66 cannot hold, bears will look to press lower toward 471.33. A breakdown of this level would likely lead to further downside testing at 469.27. Continued weakness could bring a move toward 467.60. If this support level fails, sellers may push the Q&#8217;s down to the low bear target of 465.93.
Apple Inc. (AAPL)
Apple is currently trading around 220.29. Bulls will want to see this level hold as a solid support zone. If buyers maintain control, we expect an upside move toward 220.97. A breakout above this level could drive price action higher to 221.66. Should bullish momentum persist, Apple may rally to its high bull target for the session at 222.24.
If 220.29 is lost as support, bears will likely push the auction lower to 219.19. Continued selling pressure could bring 218.08 into focus. If this level is broken, the next area of support stands at 216.70. In a scenario where sellers remain aggressive, Apple could trade down to the low bear target of 215.25.
Microsoft Corp. (MSFT)
Microsoft is currently trading around 382.69. Bulls need to maintain support at this level to push the price higher to 384.57. Holding above 384.57 could see a continuation toward 385.42. If strong buying interest is present, Microsoft has the potential to reach the high bull target for today at 386.09.
If 382.69 fails to hold as support, we anticipate the bears will take control and push the price toward 381.64. A breakdown here could lead to a test of 380.59. Should selling momentum increase, we expect the auction to reach 379.50, with a low bear target of 377.72.
NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA)
NVIDIA is currently trading around our key level of 111.70. For the bulls, we want to see strength above this level, leading to a test of 112.54. If buyers sustain momentum, we anticipate a move to 113.68. Should buying pressure continue, NVIDIA could rally to 114.29, with the high bull target set at 115.15.
If 111.70 does not hold, sellers will likely push the price down to 110.73. A break below this level could open the door to further downside at 109.86. If the selling pressure remains strong, NVIDIA may test 109.12, with a potential drop to the low bear target of 107.51.
Alphabet Inc Class A (GOOGL)
Alphabet is currently trading near 165.41. Bulls need to hold this level as support to sustain upward momentum. If buyers step in, the first upside target is 167.04. Continued strength in the auction could drive the price toward 169.34, which is our high bull target for the day.
If 165.41 is lost as support, bears will look to take control and push the price lower toward 163.79. A breakdown at this level could lead to further selling pressure, with a potential move down to 161.79. In a more aggressive sell-off, Alphabet may test the low bear target at 160.36.
Meta Platforms Inc (META)
Meta is currently trading near 615.65. Bulls will need to maintain strength above this level to target an upside move toward 622.01. If buyers sustain control, we could see a push toward 629.88. A strong rally today could bring Meta to our high bull target of 635.49.
If 615.65 does not hold as support, bears are likely to drive price action lower toward 609.30. A break below this level could trigger further selling down to 604.50. If downside momentum continues, we expect the auction to reach our low bear target of 598.17.
Tesla Inc. (TSLA)
Tesla is currently auctioning around 238.50. Bulls will need to hold this level to maintain upward momentum. If buyers step in, we expect a move toward 239.92. Continued strength could bring a test of 242.49, with the potential for a further rally to 243.98. Should bullish momentum persist, the high bull target for Tesla is 246.16.
If 238.50 is lost as support, bears will likely push Tesla lower to 235.74. Further weakness could see a test of 233.49. If this level is breached, Tesla may trade down to the low bear target at 230.65.

Vietnam Airlines Selects Sabre Network Planning And Optimization Tech For Global Expansion; New Routes Include US, Germany, India; Exploring Europe, Canada, Australia

American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/AEO#NYSE">AEO</a>) will release its fourth-quarter financial results after the <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/AEO/earnings">closing bell on Wednesday March 12.</a>
Analysts expect the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based company to report quarterly earnings at 51 cents per share, down from 61 cents per share in the year-ago period. American Eagle projects quarterly revenue of $1.6 billion, compared to $1.68 billion a year earlier, according to data from <a href="https://pro.benzinga.com/dashboard">Benzinga Pro</a>.
On Jan. 13, American Eagle Outfitters raised its fourth-quarter operating profit outlook.
With the recent buzz around American Eagle, some investors may be eyeing potential gains from the company's dividends too. As of now, American Eagle offers an annual dividend yield of 4.35%, which is a quarterly dividend amount of 13 cents per share ($0.50 a year).
To figure out how to earn $500 monthly from American Eagle, we start with the yearly target of $6,000 ($500 x 12 months).
Next, we take this amount and divide it by American Eagle's $0.50 dividend: $6,000 / $0.50 = 12,000 shares.
So, an investor would need to own approximately $137,880 worth of American Eagle, or 12,000 shares to generate a monthly dividend income of $500.
Assuming a more conservative goal of $100 monthly ($1,200 annually), we do the same calculation: $1,200 / $0.50 = 2,400 shares, or $27,576 to generate a monthly dividend income of $100.
Note that dividend yield can change on a rolling basis, as the dividend payment and the stock price both fluctuate over time.
The dividend yield is calculated by dividing the annual dividend payment by the current stock price. As the stock price changes, the dividend yield will also change.
For example, if a stock pays an annual dividend of $2 and its current price is $50, its dividend yield would be 4%. However, if the stock price increases to $60, the dividend yield would decrease to 3.33% ($2/$60).
Conversely, if the stock price decreases to $40, the dividend yield would increase to 5% ($2/$40).
Further, the dividend payment itself can also change over time, which can also impact the dividend yield. If a company increases its dividend payment, the dividend yield will increase even if the stock price remains the same. Similarly, if a company decreases its dividend payment, the dividend yield will decrease.
AEO Price Action: Shares of American Eagle fell by 5% to close at $11.49 on Tuesday.

It also reported an adjusted net income per ADS of 18 cents (1.30 Chinese yuan), missing the <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/calendars/earnings" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">analyst consensus estimate of 21 cents</a>.

Drivers:&nbsp;Monthly Active Users (MAU) on the Tantan application were 10.8 million in December 2024, down from 13.7 million a year ago.
The total number of paying users on the Momo app declined to 5.7 million in the quarter from 7.4 million a year ago. Tantan had 0.9 million paying users in the quarter, down from 1.2 million a year ago.
Segments: Revenues from the Live video service declined by 17% Y/Y to $173.3 million, total value-added service decreased by 6.9% Y/Y to $181.8 million, and Mobile marketing declined 2.9% Y/Y to $6 million.
Net revenues from the Momo segment declined by 11.2% Y/Y to $332 million, primarily due to the decrease in revenues from value-added service and live video service on the Momo app. The Tantan segment revenues decreased by 21.6% to $29.2 million.
Adjusted income from operations declined 57.9% to $38.4 million.
Hello Group held $2.02 billion in cash and equivalents and generated $58 million in operating cash flow.
Dividend: Hello Group Board declared a special cash dividend of $0.30 per ADS.
Buyback: Hello Group extended the share buyback program to March 31, 2027 (from prior June 30, 2026) and upsized total authorization by $200 million to $486 million.
Chair and CEO Yan Tang noted that 2024 was fraught with challenges and opportunities. The business maintained its robust growth momentum, prompting it to take bolder measures to propel future growth and innovation in international markets.
Outlook:&nbsp;Hello expects <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/calendars/guidance" rel="noreferrer noopener">first-quarter revenue</a> of 2.4 billion Chinese yuan–2.5 billion Chinese yuan (a decrease of 6.3%–2.4% year over year).

Hello Group Q4 Earnings: Stock Drops On Q4 Miss, $486 Million Buyback

TotalEnergies SE (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/TTE#NYSE">TTE</a>) entered into an agreement with German developer RWE to supply 30,000 tons of green hydrogen annually to the Leuna refinery in Germany <a target="_blank" href="https://totalenergies.com/news/press-releases/germany-totalenergies-and-rwe-join-forces-green-hydrogen-decarbonize-leuna" rel="noreferrer noopener">for </a>fifteen years, starting in 2030.
RWE will construct and operate a 300 MW electrolyzer in Lingen to produce green hydrogen, which will be stored locally.
The hydrogen will then be transported via a 600 km pipeline to the Leuna refinery, where it will reduce CO2 emissions by around 300,000 tons per year starting in 2030.
This agreement represents the largest volume of green hydrogen ever contracted from an electrolyzer in Germany.
Patrick Pouyanné, chairman and CEO of TotalEnergies said, &#8221;This long-term contract for green hydrogen marks an important milestone to reducing our CO2 emissions at our Leuna refinery. It will be made possible thanks to the completion of the H2 backbone by German authorities and their efficient support to green H2 customers like our Leuna refinery,"

In March, the company partnered with L'Air Liquide SA to develop two green hydrogen projects in the Netherlands with a total investment <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/25/02/43776626/totalenergies-powers-up-with-air-liquide-in-a-628-million-hydrogen-breakthrough" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">of around 600 million euros </a>($627.85 million).
