The Fund will seek to achieve its investment objective by investing, under normal market conditions, at least 80 percent of its net assets in income producing equity securities including securities in the aerospace and defense sectors. Aerospace companies include manufacturers, assemblers and distributors of aircraft and aircraft parts. Defense companies include producers of components and equipment for the defense industry, such as military aircraft, radar equipment and weapons. The Fund defines an aerospace and defense company as a company that derives at least 50 percent of its revenues from, or devotes 50 percent of its assets to, aerospace or defense related activities, or has an identified business line that derives at least 50 percent of its revenues from, or devotes 50 percent of its assets to, aerospace and/or defense related activities. Income producing equity securities include U.S. exchange-listed common stock and preferred stock. The Fund may also invest in foreign securities by investing in American Depositary Receipts.

United States Steel Corp (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/X#NYSE">X</a>) shares are getting crushed in Wednesday&#8217;s after-hours session after President Donald Trump suggested he doesn&#8217;t want to see the company get <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/commodities/25/04/44679320/us-steel-gains-16-as-trump-orders-review-of-nippon-steels-blocked-acquisition-amid-national-security-concerns">acquired by Nippon Steel</a>.
What Happened: In a <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qr9AeMFXzpY">press conference</a> from the Oval Office late Wednesday, Trump said he wants U.S. Steel to remain a U.S. company. 
&#8220;We don&#8217;t want to see it go to Japan. You know, we love Japan, but U.S. Steel is a very special company,&#8221; Trump said. 
The news comes just a day after U.S. Steel shares surged after Trump ordered a <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/commodities/25/04/44679320/us-steel-gains-16-as-trump-orders-review-of-nippon-steels-blocked-acquisition-amid-national-security-concerns">national security review</a> of the company&#8217;s takeover deal with Nippon Steel, which was blocked by the Biden Administration. 
U.S. Steel and Nippon Steel filed lawsuits in January in response to what the companies said was &#8220;wrongful interference&#8221; with Nippon's proposed $14.9-billion acquisition of U.S. Steel, originally announced at the end of 2023.
The Biden administration said last year that&nbsp;<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/24/07/39613777/amid-opposition-from-biden-and-workers-nippon-steel-vc-returns-to-discuss-us-steel-acquisition" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">it was &#8220;vital&#8221;</a>&nbsp;that U.S. Steel remained a domestically operated American steel company. The proposed acquisition had become a major topic of discussion leading up to the&nbsp;presidential election in November.

US Steel Stock Tumbles As Trump Says 'We Don't Want To See It Go To Japan'

KKR &amp; Co. Inc. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/KKR#NYSE">KKR</a>) has secured a deal to acquire Swedish consumer health firm Karo Healthcare<a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/25/02/43907861/kkr-to-gain-full-control-of-hcg-in-400-million-deal-eyes-healthcare-expansion" rel="noreferrer noopener">.</a>
The transaction is subject to customary regulatory conditions and approvals and is expected to close in the coming months, per a <a target="_blank" href="https://eqtgroup.com/news/eqt-to-sell-karo-healthcare-a-leading-pan-european-consumer-health-platform-to-kkr-2025-04-09" rel="noreferrer noopener">statement</a>.&nbsp;
"We engaged the full capabilities of our firm to deliver this transaction during a period of market disruption and we look forward to supporting Karo's growth as a value-enhancing strategic partner," said Hans Arstad, Managing Director at KKR.
The transaction, expected to be valued at approximately 2.65 billion euros ($2.924 billion) including debt, would see KKR beat out rival bidder PAI Partners to secure the company behind popular over-the-counter brands like E45 and Lamisil, Financial Times <a target="_blank" href="https://www.ft.com/content/59680d34-adb9-473a-8c95-9f89ac9e1555" rel="noreferrer noopener">reports</a>.

Karo Healthcare, headquartered in Stockholm, has expanded significantly under the ownership of EQT, which took the firm private in 2022 at a valuation of 1.4 billion euros.
EQT initially took a majority stake in Karo back in 2019 when the business was still listed, Financial Times adds.
The acquisition underscores KKR's confidence in healthcare-focused investments even as overall merger activity has slowed due to uncertain interest rate policy and fluctuating debt markets.
The buyout is poised to provide a strong return for EQT, following a series of brand acquisitions Karo made in recent years.
Under EQT's stewardship, Karo spent £200 million in 2021 to acquire the E45 skincare line from Reckitt Benckiser Group Plc (OTC:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/RBGLY#OTC">RBGLY</a>), and in 2023 it purchased Lamisil from Haleon Plc (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/HLN#NYSE">HLN</a>) for £235 million. The company currently markets over 100 products across 90 countries, with a portfolio that includes Nutravita, Alpha Foods, and Remescar. Karo employs about 400 people globally.
This deal would further KKR's extensive footprint in the European healthcare sector.
The firm, which manages $668 billion in assets, has recently invested in U.K.-based Clinisupplies and Swiss peptide manufacturer Biosynth, among others.
According to&nbsp;<a target="_blank" href="https://pro.benzinga.com/?gspk=YWRhbWVja2VydDUzMzY&amp;gsxid=zBMR4PKmcgBw" rel="noreferrer noopener">Benzinga Pro</a>, KKR stock has lost over 5% in the past year. Investors can gain exposure to the stock via FM Focus Equity ETF (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/FMCX#NYSE">FMCX</a>).
Price Action: KKR shares closed higher by 16.90% to $110.46&nbsp;on Wednesday.

U.S.&nbsp;President Donald Trump, on Tuesday, disclosed plans for a "major tariff" on <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/topic/tariffs" rel="noreferrer noopener">foreign pharmaceuticals</a>.
"We're&nbsp;going to be announcing very&nbsp;shortly a major tariff on&nbsp;pharmaceuticals… when they hear that&nbsp;they will leave China, they&nbsp;will leave other places because… most of their product&nbsp;is sold here," Trump expressed at&nbsp;a National Republican <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/25/04/44708204/trump-hints-at-major-tariff-on-imported-pharmaceuticals-us-pharma-stocks-tumble-in-wednesday-pre-market" rel="noreferrer noopener">Congressional Committee&nbsp;dinner</a>.
He also told reporters on board his Air Force One plane that "pharma" tariffs would arrive "at a level that you haven't really seen before," saying these would be announced "in the near future," BBC <a target="_blank" href="https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cedyylj1v32o" rel="noreferrer noopener">report</a> added.

When President Trump announced tariffs last week, he excluded pharmaceuticals from the new tariffs, likely a relief for the industry under pressure following his prior comments suggesting a 25% tariff&nbsp;<a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/general/biotech/25/04/44652075/us-tariffs-spare-drugmakers-but-threaten-diabetes-device-industry" rel="noreferrer noopener">on pharmaceutical imports</a>.&nbsp;
On Wednesday, in a surprise announcement from President Donald Trump, a 90-day pause on tariffs for countries that have not retaliated <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/topic/tariffs" rel="noreferrer noopener">against U.S. trade measures.</a>
The news ignited a broad risk-on rally, catapulting major indices to multi-month highs and sending volatility plunging.
Trump's latest Truth Social post slammed China for showing "a lack of respect" and declared an immediate 125% tariff hike on Chinese goods.
"At some point, hopefully in the near future, China will realize that the days of ripping off the U.S.A. and other Countries is no longer sustainable or acceptable," he said.
He praised the over 75 countries that, in his words, "have not, at my strong suggestion, retaliated in any way, shape, or form."
As a reward, those countries would benefit from a temporary 10% reciprocal tariff and a 90-day pause on additional duties.
The biopharma industry has historically been shielded from tariffs, including during Trump's first term.
Although Trump didn't provide many details, his remarks have unsettled buyers, especially those who depend on medicines from India. India provides nearly half of all generic drugs used in the U.S., helping cut billions from healthcare costs.
The U.S. is a major market, buying about a third of India's $13 billion in yearly drug exports.
Indian drug companies warn that if tariffs are added, they'd have to raise prices—which could increase healthcare costs in the U.S.
Even though some companies like Cipla and Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/RDY#NYSE">RDY</a>) have factories in the U.S., most say it's too expensive to move production for low-profit generic drugs.
BofA Securities analyst says if the Trump administration plans to impose tariffs on the pharmaceutical industry, it would likely do so through a "Section 232 investigation" under the Trade Expansion Act of 1962 to determine whether importing certain goods threatens national security.
The typical timeline for a Section 232 investigation is about a year. If the same timeline applied here, tariffs on drug imports likely wouldn't take effect until late in the year—at the earliest.
It's unclear whether the Section 232 investigation into the drug industry is about to start, but based on recent comments from the administration, it seems possible. However, launching an investigation doesn't guarantee that tariffs will follow.
As the first quarter 2025 earnings season starts soon, analyst Tim Anderson says it will be worth watching whether companies discuss potential tariffs during earnings calls.
That said, any actual earnings impact likely wouldn't show up until sometime after 2025, which could leave investors with more questions than answers.
Wedbush analyst Daniel Ives <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/25/04/44698325/trump-tariff-strategy-self-inflicted-market-debacle-says-wedbush-analyst" rel="noreferrer noopener">on Tuesday wrote</a> that "saying we can just make this in the USA" understates how complex the supply chain in Asia really is—and how electronics, chips, semiconductors, hardware, and smartphones have been built for U.S. consumers over the past 30 years."

Trump Media shares have carried that momentum into the <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/DJT">after-hours session</a>.
What To Know: Stocks staged a massive rally on Wednesday after Trump announced a 90-day tariff pause in a <a href="https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/posts/114309144289505174">post</a> on Truth Social.&nbsp;
&#8220;Based on the fact that more than 75 Countries have called Representatives of the United States &#8230; to negotiate a solution to the subjects being discussed relative to Trade, Trade Barriers, Tariffs, Currency Manipulation, and Non Monetary Tariffs, and that these Countries have not, at my strong suggestion, retaliated in any way, shape, or form against the United States, I have authorized a 90 day PAUSE,&#8221; Trump said in the post. 
The tariff pause will be effective immediately for non-retaliating countries, while China will face a harsh 125% tariff. The announcement came hours after Trump&#8217;s sweeping reciprocal tariffs took effect.
Trump Media, which is the parent company of Truth Social, was&nbsp;<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/25/04/44608924/trump-media-technology-stock-drops-on-share-registration-will-president-trump-sell-his-stake" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">co-founded by Trump</a>, who maintains more than a 50% stake in the company. 
The price action in Trump Media shares has been detached from the company's fundamentals for some time. During Trump&#8217;s 2024 presidential campaign, the stock moved up and down alongside&nbsp;Trump&#8217;s chances of reelection. Now the stock appears to be moving alongside Trump&#8217;s approval ratings. 
Trump&#8217;s approval ratings have fallen in recent months related to tariff uncertainty. Trump had approximately 47% approval when he took office in January, but Reuters reported his approval ratings had fallen to 43% as of last week.
It&#8217;s worth noting that Trump said in a Truth Social post Wednesday morning shortly after the market opened that &#8220;this is a great time to buy.&#8221; He included the ticker symbol for Trump Media in the <a href="https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/posts/114308272725981913">post</a>. 
DJT Price Action: <a href="http://benzinga.com/quote/djt">Trump Media shares</a> closed Wednesday up 21.67% at $20.27. The stock was up another 5.82% after hours, trading at $21.45 at the time of publication, per <a href="http://pro.benzinga.com">Benzinga Pro</a>.
