The results came in amid a<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/earnings"> positive earnings season</a>. Here are some key analyst takeaways.
Wedbush On MongoDB
<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/analyst-stock-ratings/analyst/5e00ad4e3513fb0001f03cfd/daniel-ives">Analyst Daniel Ives</a> reiterated an Outperform, while cutting the price target from $360 to $300.
MongoDB's total revenues grew 20% year-on-year to $548.4 million, beating Street expectations of $520.6 million, Ives said. Subscription revenue of $531.0 million also came in above consensus of $504.9 million, "as MDB looks to generate stable demand across industries for its next-gen solutions," he added.
NRR (net recurring revenues) stood at 118%, decelerating from 120% in the previous quarter, "due to a smaller contribution from existing customers," the analyst stated. "MongoDB provided relatively weak guidance across the board for FY26 as the company sees a more gradual impact from its AI solutions into FY26," he further wrote.
RBC Capital Markets On MongoDB
<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/analyst-stock-ratings/analyst/5846fffaee7bf6000154d142/rishi-jaluria">Analyst Rishi Jaluria</a> maintained an Outperform rating, while slashing the price target from $400 to $320.
MongoDB closed fiscal 2025 "on a solid note," with non-GAAP earnings of $1.28 per share beating consensus of 66 cents per share, Jaluria said. Although total revenues came in higher than consensus, growth decelerated by 2 points to 20% year-on-year, he added.
The company achieved strong profitability, with operating margins beating consensus by around 900 basis points, the analyst stated. Management's fiscal 2026 guidance was disappointing, being impacted by expectations of "a high single-digit decline in non-Atlas subscription revenue," he further wrote.

Rosenblatt Securities On MongoDB
<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/analyst-stock-ratings/analyst/60081c88879cba00010420fb/blair-abernethy">Analyst Blair Abernethy</a> reaffirmed a Buy rating, while reducing the price target from $350 to $305.
MongoDB's subscription revenues grew by 19% year-on-year to $531 million, beating consensus by 6%, Abernethy said. The beat was driven by "greater than expected non-Atlas multi-year contract signings of ~$10m," he added.
While the company expects Atlas consumption growth to remain stable in fiscal 2026, its weaker revenue guidance for the year is impacted "largely by a $50m non-Atlas multi-year license headwind," the analyst stated. "Mongo continues to see a significant longer-term AI opportunity for its highly scalable, flexible document model that handles all data types," he further wrote.
Needham On MongoDB
<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/analyst-stock-ratings/analyst/601a8839a6fe6f00010c6966/mike-cikos">Analyst Mike Cikos</a> maintained a Buy rating, while slashing the price target from $415 to $270.
MongoDB guided to revenue growth of 16%-17% in the fiscal first quarter to a range of $524.0 million to $529.0 million and 12%-14% growth in fiscal 2026 to $2.240 billion to $2.280 billion, Cikos said. The full-year revenue guidance came well below Street expectations of $2.328 billion, he added.
The company expects non-Atlas subscription revenue to decline by a high-single-digit percentage, the analyst wrote. "All eyes are set squarely on Atlas (71% of Revenue) to drive revenue outperformance," with consumption growth stabilizing and the company poised to benefit from "a stronger cohort of acquired workloads in FY25 versus FY24," he further wrote.
Piper Sandler On MongoDB
<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/analyst-stock-ratings/analyst/586e4055351b9b00018beeab/brent-bracelin">Analyst Brent Bracelin</a> maintained an Overweight rating, while cutting the price target from $425 to $280.
MongoDB total revenues grew 19.7% year-on-year to $548 million, "with Atlas upside contributing to a $31M beat to the midpoint guide," Bracelin said. Atlas grew by a healthy 24% year-on-year during the fiscal fourth quarter, although this marked a deceleration from the 26% reported in the previous quarter, he added.
Management indicated that Atlas consumption trends are stabilizing, the analyst stated. Bracelin said, however, that the company's growth outlook came in below 14% for second straight year.
MDB Price Action: Shares of MongoDB had declined by 21.61% to $207.06&nbsp;at the time of publication on Thursday.

On Wednesday, a federal court issued a nationwide preliminary injunction against the National Institutes of Health (NIH) following its abrupt decision to slash and cap indirect cost rates on <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/general/health-care" rel="noreferrer noopener">biomedical research grants</a>.
The ruling prevents implementing the policy change, which would affect billions of dollars in funding and disrupt ongoing <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/general/biotech/25/02/43618745/us-states-sue-national-institutes-of-health-over-4-billion-annual-cut-in-biomedical-research-grant-budget" rel="noreferrer noopener">research and clinical trials</a>.
The controversy began when NIH released a Supplemental Guidance on February 7, 2025, modifying indirect cost rates in grant awards.
NIH said it would now&nbsp;<a target="_blank" href="https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/notice-files/NOT-OD-25-068.html" rel="noreferrer noopener">apply</a> a standard indirect cost rate of 15% to all new and existing grants, replacing the previous practice of negotiating separate rates for each grant.

Historically, NIH's average indirect cost rate has been around 27%–28%, with some institutions charging over 50% or even 60%.
Critics argued that the policy, issued without public notice or stakeholder input, threatened the viability of research institutions nationwide.
Three separate lawsuits were filed in response, representing 22 state attorneys general, multiple medical associations, and leading universities. Thomson Reuters published a copy of the <a href="https://fingfx.thomsonreuters.com/gfx/legaldocs/zgpojbqxnvd/03052025nih_ruling.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">lawsuit</a> online.
Plaintiffs contended that NIH's unilateral action violated federal regulations, exceeded statutory authority, and failed to comply with the Administrative Procedure Act. They also cited the potential harm to life-saving clinical trials and medical advancements.
NIH has a $48 billion budget and 27 institutes that fund critical research on diseases like&nbsp;<a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/general/biotech/24/11/42222191/donald-trump-nominates-pandemic-critic-jay-bhattacharya-tapped-to-reshape-national-institutes-of-health-that-oversees-budget-of-48-billion" rel="noreferrer noopener">cancer and diabetes</a>.
In 2023, NIH awarded over $35 billion in research funding across nearly 50,000 grants. Of this, $26 billion went directly to research, while $9 billion covered indirect costs.
In granting the injunction, the court determined that NIH's policy change disregarded existing laws, risked substantial harm to the nation's research infrastructure, and failed to follow proper procedures.
The decision maintains the current funding structure until the legal challenges are resolved.

President Donald Trump's address to a joint session of Congress <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/media/25/03/44102399/heres-how-to-watch-donald-trumps-address-to-congress-time-date-and-what-to-expect">on Tuesday night</a> drew a large audience, but viewership numbers are significantly down from his previous presidential speeches.
What Happened: On Tuesday, Trump spoke for over one hour and 40 minutes. Among the <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/equities/25/03/44133368/trumps-congressional-address-taps-elon-musk-for-government-overhaul-revives-drill-baby-drill-for-energy-boom">various topics he addressed</a> were tariffs, inflation, eggs, Elon Musk, the Department of Government Efficiency, international relations, oil drilling, taxation and the CHIPS Act.
The speech broke the previous record held by former President Bill Clinton. In 2000, Clinton delivered a speech to a joint session of Congress for one hour and 28 minutes. 
While the length of the speech set records for Trump, it failed to break any viewership records.
An average of 36.6 million viewers tuned into Trump's speech Tuesday according to Nielsen data, reported by <a href="https://variety.com/2025/tv/news/trump-congress-speech-ratings-viewers-1236328626/">Variety</a>.
This marked a 13% increase from former President Joe Biden&#8216;s 2024 State of the Union speech. Biden drew an average of 32.2 million viewers.
While Trump's speech wasn't an official State of the Union speech given his short time in the White House, the viewership lagged previous Trump speeches to Congress.
During his first term, Trump topped that figure in each of his annual State of the Union speeches to Congress. See below:

Viewership figures include the major networks and cable outlets that broadcast Trump's speech, but may not include all of the streaming viewership which could factor into the declines.
Fox News, which is owned by Fox Corporation (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/FOX#NASDAQ">FOX</a>)(NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/FOXA#NASDAQ">FOXA</a>) said it led the way in Tuesday viewership with an average of 10.7 million viewers during Trump's speech according to the report.
Nielsen also tracked the age of viewers, with an older audience tuning into the broadcast and cable networks to view Trump's speech as seen below:

<li>55 or older: 70.7% of viewers</li>

Why It's Important: With the media landscape shifting to streaming and other non-traditional viewership methods, it could be tough to compare the viewership from Tuesday's speech to past presidential speeches.
The same could likely be said for Trump's inauguration on Jan. 20. An average of 24.59 million viewers <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/general/entertainment/25/01/43139381/how-many-people-watched-donald-trumps-2025-inauguration-spoiler-less-than-biden-four-years-ago">watched Trump's inauguration</a>, which was down from 33.76 million who tuned into Biden's first inauguration in 2017 (30.64 million).
Fox News, which is Republican-leaning, also led the way in viewership for Trump's inauguration.
The 2024 election cycle saw many broadcast and cable news outlets see a boost in viewership and advertising revenue with viewers tuning in for coverage.
With Trump now in office, viewership figures appear to have dropped and less people may be willing to tune in to hear him speak while in office this time around.
When it comes to companies benefitting from Trump in office again, Fox News is likely the winner.

The Details: AGM intends to use the net proceeds in order to buy 2,000 Bitcoin (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/btc/usd">BTC</a>) mining machines for a total purchase price of $9.62 million.
The company sold 16.39 million Class A ordinary shares with warrants at a combined price of 33 cents each.
AGM shares are trading with higher-than-normal session volume at 382.53 million shares. The company&#8217;s average session volume over the past 100 days is 1.18 million shares.
