A Benzinga reader poll may have predicted that move and could show what happens next.
What Happened: The leading cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, continues to see increased interest and adoption from investors thanks to its maximum supply, institutional buying, and other elements.

On Sunday, Exelixis, Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/EXEL#NASDAQ">EXEL</a>) revealed topline results from the STELLAR-303 phase 3 pivotal trial of zanzalintinib (100 mg) <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/25/06/b46044198/exelixis-announces-zanzalintinib-in-combination-with-an-immune-checkpoint-inhibitor-improved-overa" rel="noreferrer noopener">combined with atezolizumab</a>.
The study includes patients with previously treated non-microsatellite instability (MSI)-high <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/general/health-care" rel="noreferrer noopener">metastatic colorectal cancer (CRC)</a>.
Zanzalintinib in combination with Roche Holdings AG (OTC:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/RHHBY#OTC">RHHBY</a>) atezolizumab (Tecentriq) demonstrated a statistically significant improvement in overall survival (OS) versus Bayer AG (OTC:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/BAYRY#OTC">BAYRY</a>) Stivarga (regorafenib).

These topline findings are from the final analysis conducted by the Independent Data Monitoring Committee of one of the dual primary endpoints of the STELLAR-303 phase 3 trial.
The trial will proceed to the planned final analysis for the other dual primary endpoint of OS in patients without liver metastases (non-liver metastases, NLM).
The safety profiles of zanzalintinib in combination with atezolizumab and of regorafenib were generally consistent with what has been previously observed, and no new safety signals were identified.
Secondary endpoints of STELLAR-303 include progression-free survival, objective response rate and duration of response in the ITT population and in the NLM subgroup of patients. Exelixis plans to submit detailed results of STELLAR-303 for presentation at an upcoming medical conference.
Following this positive news, analysts at William Blair said that the announcement &#8220;represents the first pivotal success from the zanzalintinib program, and we are encouraged that the STELLAR-303 study met one of the dual primary endpoints of overall survival among the intent-to-treat population, representing the largest commercial opportunity (risk-adjusted U.S. peak sales of $875 million, according to our estimates).&#8221;
Management had earlier projected that zanzalintinib could reach $5 billion in U.S. net product sales by 2033, with 45% expected from genitourinary cancers, another 45% from gastrointestinal cancers, and the remaining 10% from head-and-neck cancers. Analyst Andy Hsieh asserted that the early positive results from the STELLAR-303 trial mark the first step toward reaching that target.
He added, &#8220;From a stock perspective, given its substantial and likely durable cash flow generation into early 2030, we continue to believe Exelixis provides investors with a highly defensive investment profile. We also believe that the strategic positioning outlined by Exelixis should drive moderate growth into the next decade.&#8221;
Adding to Exelixis&#8217; recent positive developments, its partner Ipsen also recently achieved a regulatory milestone.
On Friday, Exelixis&#8217; partner Ipsen received a positive opinion from the European Medicine Agency&#8217;s Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use for Cabometyx (cabozantinib) for adult patients with unresectable or metastatic, well-differentiated extra-pancreatic and pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors who have progressed following at least one prior systemic therapy <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/25/06/b46022267/exelixis-partner-ipsen-receives-positive-chmp-opinion-for-cabometyx-cabozantinib-for-patients-with" rel="noreferrer noopener">other than somatostatin analogs</a>.
A regulatory decision by the European Medicines Agency is anticipated in 2025. In March 2025, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/25/06/b46022267/exelixis-partner-ipsen-receives-positive-chmp-opinion-for-cabometyx-cabozantinib-for-patients-with" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Cabometyx in this setting</a>.

<li>There is no value to be added by regurgitating everything that is in mainstream media. Prudent investors should pay attention to a statement coming from Russia that the media has ignored.  Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev said, "A number of countries are ready to directly supply Iran with their own nuclear warheads."   In our analysis, the only four countries that are even plausible are Russia, North Korea, China, and Pakistan.  </li>
<li>Prudent investors should also pay attention to the fact that it appears 400kg of Iran's enriched uranium is missing.&nbsp; This is enough to make ten nuclear bombs.&nbsp; It is likely that Iran moved this uranium to a secure secret location before the attacks.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Investors should think in different time frames.&nbsp; Even if Iran does not respond vigorously, in the short term, Iran may secretly build a nuclear weapon over the next year, unless there is a regime change.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Prudent investors should also note that Iran's parliament has passed a resolution calling for the blockage of the Strait of Hormuz.&nbsp; About 25% of the world's oil is transported through the Strait of Hormuz.</li>
</ul>

In the early trade, money flows are positive in Apple Inc (AAPL), Amazon.com, Inc. (AMZN), Meta Platforms Inc (META), and Tesla Inc (TSLA).

In the early trade, money flows are negative in NVIDIA Corp (NVDA).

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Momo Crowd And Smart Money In Stocks</h4>
Investors can gain an edge by knowing money flows in SPY and QQQ.  Investors can get a bigger edge by knowing when smart money is buying stocks, gold, and oil.  The most popular ETF for gold is SPDR Gold Trust (GLD).  The most popular ETF for silver is iShares Silver Trust (SLV).  The most popular ETF for oil is United States Oil ETF (USO).

Bitcoin is seeing selling on Iran risk.  The price action in bitcoin goes against the narrative of bitcoin promoters that bitcoin is a hedge against geopolitics.
<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Arora Protection Band And What To Do Now</h4>
It is important for investors to look ahead and not in the rearview mirror.  Our proprietary Protection Band puts all of the data, all of the indicators, all of the news, all of the crosscurrents, all of the models, and all of the analysis in an analytical framework that is easily actionable by investors.
Consider continuing to hold good, very long term, existing positions. Based on individual risk preference, consider a protection band consisting of cash or Treasury bills or short-term tactical trades as well as short to medium term hedges and short term hedges. This is a good way to protect yourself and participate in the upside at the same time.
You can determine your protection bands by adding cash to hedges.&nbsp; The high band of the protection is appropriate for those who are older or conservative. The low band of the protection is appropriate for those who are younger or aggressive.&nbsp; If you do not hedge, the total cash level should be more than stated above but significantly less than cash plus hedges.
A protection band of 0% would be very bullish and would indicate full investment with 0% in cash.&nbsp; A protection band of 100% would be very bearish and would indicate a need for aggressive protection with cash and hedges or aggressive short selling.
It is worth reminding that you cannot take advantage of new upcoming opportunities if you are not holding enough cash.&nbsp; When adjusting hedge levels, consider adjusting partial stop quantities for stock positions (non ETF); consider using wider stops on remaining quantities and also allowing more room for high beta stocks.&nbsp; High beta stocks are the ones that move more than the market.
<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Traditional 60/40 Portfolio</h4>
Probability based risk reward adjusted for inflation does not favor long duration strategic bond allocation at this time.
Those who want to stick to traditional 60% allocation to stocks and 40% to bonds may consider focusing on only high quality bonds and bonds of five year duration or less.&nbsp; Those willing to bring sophistication to their investing may consider using bond ETFs as tactical positions and not strategic positions at this time.

Starbucks Corp's (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/SBUX#NASDAQ">SBUX</a>) decision to accelerate the rollout of its Green Apron staffing model to all U.S. stores by year-end will be a headwind to earnings in 2026 and 2027, according to TD Cowen.
The Starbucks Analyst: <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/analyst-stock-ratings/analyst/58b05502b85e93000174c0ed/andrew-charles">Analyst Andrew Charles</a> maintained a Hold rating and price target of $90.
The Starbucks Thesis: The Green Apron model will increase labor by 12% across US stores, Charles said in the note.

The rollout of Assistant Store Managers to all U.S. company-owned stores in mid-2026 will add to the headwind from Green Apron, Charles added.
The earnings estimates for 2026-2028 have been reduced from $2.80 per share to $2.59 per share, from $3.17 per share to $3.00 per share and from $3.81 per share to $3.73 per share, which is now 12% below consensus on average, the analyst stated.
The labor investment is likely to drive sales. Same-store sales estimates for 2026-2028 have been raised to 4% per year, from 3.5% per year, Charles said.
Price Action: At the time of publication on Monday, Starbucks shares had declined by 0.75% to $92.42.
