In his recent note, the analyst said the rise of artificial intelligence is increasing demand for the raw materials that many EM countries produce, while a weakening U.S. dollar is removing one of the main barriers to capital inflows. 
With EM equities still trading near multi-decade lows relative to U.S. stocks, Hartnett suggested the current setup makes an &#8220;easy allocation decision.&#8221;
Emerging markets have underperformed U.S. stocks – as tracked by the SPDR S&amp;P 500 ETF Trust (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/SPY#NYSE">SPY</a>) – by 70% since 2013, yet they&#8217;re up about 10% year-to-date—on track for their best year since 2017.

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Positioning To EM Stocks Still Light </h2>
David Hauner, head of emerging markets strategy at Bank of America, reinforced the bank&#8217;s optimistic view on EM assets.
He has maintained a bullish stance since President Donald Trump's inauguration and sees room for further upside, as investor positioning remains lighter than expected—despite solid year-to-date gains and a broadly weaker U.S. dollar.
He added that while U.S. fiscal concerns are rising, the main risk for EM would be "an unexpected dollar rebound" from the upcoming trade talks.
Historically, emerging markets have been vulnerable to rising U.S. yields, especially on the long end of the curve. However, recent price action tells a different story. Despite higher 30-year Treasury yields, EM local bonds and currencies have remained resilient.
"As long as DXY is down, EM returns tend to stay positive—even when U.S. yields rise," said Hauner. 
Bank of America's historical data supports that view. Since 2008, when the Dollar Index declined, the MSCI Emerging Markets Index posted gains 72% of the time, with average monthly returns between 2.2% and 2.8%, depending on the movement in long-term U.S. yields.

Oracle Corp (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/ORCL#NYSE">ORCL</a>) shares are hitting new highs on Monday after the company&#8217;s CEO provided bullish commentary on the company&#8217;s trajectory <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/25/06/46166651/oracle-in-filing-says-ceo-plans-to-meet-with-other-oracle-colleagues-today-will-say-oracle-is-off-to">in a filing</a>. 
What Happened: Oracle CEO Safra Catz said in a SEC filing that Oracle is off to a &#8220;strong start&#8221; in fiscal 2026 as MultiCloud database revenue continues to experience over 100% growth. 
The filing comes ahead of a planned meeting with colleagues in which Catz plans to discuss &#8220;multiple large&#8221; cloud services agreements, including one agreement that is expected to drive more than $30 billion in annual revenue beginning in fiscal 2028. 
Oracle <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/earnings/25/06/45893773/oracle-q4-earnings-revenue-eps-beat-estimates-cloud-infrastructure-growth-expected-to-accelerate-with-demand-skyrocketing">said</a> earlier this month that its MultiCloud database revenue from Amazon, Google and Azure grew 115% sequentially in the fourth quarter ended May 31. The company noted at the time that it expected to continue to see triple-digit MultiCloud revenue growth in fiscal 2026.
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure&nbsp;(OCI) consumption revenue also grew 62% in the quarter.
&#8220;OCI revenue growth rates are skyrocketing — so is demand," Oracle chair and CTO Larry Ellison said in the company&#8217;s earnings release.
Stifel analyst Brad Reback upgraded Oracle from <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/analyst-stock-ratings">Hold to Buy</a> and raised the price target from&nbsp;$180&nbsp;to&nbsp;$250 on Monday, which may be helping push shares to new highs. 
Stifel joins UBS and Guggenheim, who also recently increased price targets to $250, which is the Street-high forecast for Oracle. Oracle has a Street-low target of $160, according to Benzinga <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/ORCL/analyst-ratings">analyst data</a>. 
ORCL Price Action: <a href="http://benzinga.com/quote/orcl">Oracle shares</a> were up 4.88% at $220.51 at the time of publication, according to <a href="http://pro.benzinga.com">Benzinga Pro</a>. Shares are now up approximately 33% on a year-to-date basis.

Up to that point, SocialFi was a collection of garage-band ventures aimed at liberating social media, flowing content ownership and revenues away from intermediaries and back to creators.
These new players allowed social influencers to tokenize their clout, selling NFT-based ‘keys' to exclusive content and chat rooms that followers could buy or sell.
Users loved it, until they didn't. Within a few months, Friend.tech&#8217;s transaction volume cratered and users stopped logging in. Copycat project Post.tech replicated the rapid decline, followed by Friendzy, Friend3, Stars Arena, and Cipher.

It turned out the project had made less than $21 (twenty-one dollars total) in the previous 30 days. Further analysis showed that revenues and user activity had fallen precipitously in December 2023, kicking off a long, drawn-out decline.
Friend.tech's fall took SocialFi down with it. After peaking at around $50 million in total value locked (TVL) and ca. 400,000 transactions per day in October 2023, the SocialFi sector went into free fall. Figures from DeFiLlama and Cryptokoryo show that TVL dropped by a quarter, and daily transactions fell by 98%.

Globally, creators and influencers are close-knit group operating with similar aspirations and a shared world view. That sounds a lot like the crypto community. 
The two should be a natural fit, but until SociaFi platforms let users profit alongside their favorite influencers, common ground will be hard to find.
