What Happened: New Disney film "Elio" from Pixar struggled in its box office debut, ranking third behind "28 Years Later" and the <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/entertainment/25/06/45960044/live-action-how-to-train-your-dragon-box-office-soars-above-cartoon-films-inside-comcasts-2025-movie-magic">live-action family-friendly,</a> "How to Train Your Dragon."
"Elio" grossed $21 million domestically during its opening weekend, which is the worst open for a Pixar film in modern history, as reported by <a href="https://variety.com/2025/film/box-office/elio-pixar-worst-box-office-opening-28-years-later-debut-1236437579/">Variety</a>. Estimates for the film predicted it would open with $25 million to $30 million domestically.

What's Next: The new low for Pixar breaks the 2023 domestic total of "Elemental," which opened with $29.6 million domestically. That film went on to manage a respectable box office before it left theaters thanks to strong reviews.
"Elemental" grossed $155 million domestically and $496 million worldwide. With a strong "A" rating on CinemaScore and 85% rating on Rotten Tomatoes for "Elio," Disney will be hoping for a similar rebound for its latest Pixar film.
Disney shareholders looking ahead at the 2025 release schedule likely aren't too worried about the weak "Elio" opening. While the film being a big miss is definitely worrisome, it comes with Disney having more blockbusters set for release the rest of the year, including:

As Google monetization evolves, Search metrics such as paid clicks could become less relevant, and monetization KPIs (like ARPU) may better reflect Search performance, he said.
Post noted an increased focus by Google on product reach disclosure (15 products with 500 million+ users).
According to the analyst, Google is well-positioned with tech talent, extensive data to build AI models, and multi-product distribution to drive AI usage and monetization.

Fair Isaac Corp. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/FICO#NYSE">FICO</a>) on Monday <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/25/06/b46049134/fico-unveils-groundbreaking-credit-scores-that-incorporate-buy-now-pay-later-data" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">announced the launch</a> of FICO Score 10 BNPL and FICO Score 10 T BNPL to incorporate Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) data.
The scores give lenders greater visibility into consumers&#8217; repayment behaviors, enabling a more comprehensive view of their credit readiness and ultimately improving the lending experience.
FICO Score&nbsp;10 BNPL and FICO Score 10 T BNPL were developed to harness the benefits offered by incorporating consumers&#8217; BNPL data into calculations.

This treatment has proven effective at capturing predictive signals from including BNPL data while increasing FICO Scores for some BNPL borrowers.
In developing these new scores, FICO sought input from many of the largest lenders in the U.S. FICO Score 10 BNPL and FICO Score 10 T BNPL will likely be available in Fall 2025.
A growing share of Americans are using BNPL loans for electronics, clothing, and food. According to a recent LendingTree&nbsp;survey, 25% of BNPL users reported using the loans to pay for groceries, up from just 14% in 2024 and 21% in 2023.
Many consumers <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/25/05/45139105/more-americans-are-using-buy-now-pay-later-loans-to-pay-for-groceries-and-falling-behind" rel="noreferrer noopener">don&#8217;t fully understand</a> how BNPL loans affect their credit, and many incorrectly assume that making on-time payments helps improve their credit score.
Last December, Affirm Holdings (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/AFRM#NASDAQ">AFRM</a>) <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/tech/24/12/42486903/affirm-secures-4-billion-loan-deal-with-sixth-street-to-boost-bnpl-growth" rel="noreferrer noopener">raised $4 billion</a> from Sixth Street to scale BNPL loans. This provided additional off-balance sheet funding, allowing Affirm to extend more than $20 billion in loans over the next three years.

Accenture Plc (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/ACN#NYSE">ACN</a>) posted better-than-expected third-quarter <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/acn/earnings">earnings on Friday</a>.
The company reported quarterly earnings of $3.49 per share, topping the analyst consensus estimate of $3.31.
The company reported sales of $17.7 billion, slightly exceeding the analyst consensus estimate of $17.30 billion. Sales increased 8% in U.S. dollars and 7% in local currency.

Accenture narrowed its fiscal year 2025 revenue growth outlook to 6%-7% (prior 5%-7%) in local currency. The company forecasts 2025 diluted earnings of $12.77-$12.89 (prior $12.55-$12.79) per share compared to the consensus of $12.75.
Accenture shares rose 1.4% to trade at $289.35 on Monday.
These analysts made changes to their price targets on Accenture following earnings announcement.
