Greenbrier, RPM International, CVRx And Other Big Stocks Moving Lower In Tuesday's Pre-Market Session

Shares of Levi Strauss &amp; Co. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/LEVI#NYSE">LEVI</a>) rose sharply in today's pre-market trading after reported better-than-expected earnings for its <a href="https://in.benzinga.com/news/earnings/25/04/44674732/levi-strauss-shares-rise-after-mixed-q1-results-details">first quarter on Monday</a>.
Levi Strauss &amp; Co. reported quarterly adjusted earnings of 38 cents per share, which beat the 28 cent analyst consensus estimate.
Levi also said its 2025 guidance remains unchanged, other than to reflect its Dockers business as a discontinued operation, and does not reflect any impact from the recently announced tariffs.

Collective Mining Ltd. (NYSE:<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/CNL#NYSE">CNL</a>, TSX:<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/CNL#TSX">CNL</a>) ("Collective" or the "Company")&nbsp;is pleased to announce that due to strong demand, it has increased the size of the previously announced bought deal of common shares to 7,000,000 common shares (the "Common Shares") at a price of C$5.00 for gross proceeds of C$35 million ("the Offering"). The company previously entered into an agreement with BMO Capital Markets as sole bookrunner on behalf of a syndicate of underwriters including Clarus Securities Inc. and Scotia Capital, among others (collectively, the "Underwriters"). The Company has granted the Underwriters an option (the "Over-allotment Option"), exercisable in whole or in part, to purchase up to an additional 1,050,000 Common Shares for a period of 30 days from and including the closing date of the Offering to cover over-allotments, if any, and for market stabilization purposes. The Underwriters shall be under no obligation whatsoever to exercise the Over-allotment Option in whole or in part. If the Over-allotment Option is exercised in full, the aggregate gross proceeds of the Offering will be approximately C$40 million. The offering is expected to close on or about October 31, 2024 and is subject to Collective receiving all necessary regulatory approvals.
The Company intends to use the net proceeds from the Offering to fund ongoing work programs to advance the Guayabales Project, to pursue other exploration and development opportunities, and for working capital and general corporate purposes.

Canadian junior miner Collective Mining (AMEX:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/CNL#AMEX">CNL</a>) is expanding its Guayabales project in Caldas, Colombia. The latest drilling results revealed a connection between two prospective <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/topic/gold">gold deposits</a>.
These findings show the Apollo and Olympus deposits merge into an extensive mineralized system spanning approximately 1,000 by 800 meters. This development marks a milestone in the company's 40,000-meter drilling program, which is now halfway complete.
"Confirming that Olympus and Apollo are in fact one much larger combined system (Apollo) is pleasing and opens the door for expanded future scenarios in terms of mineral endowment growth and development opportunities. We have two rigs focused on Apollo presently and will now look to expand the system northwards past its known limits while continuing to focus on defining and growing higher grade subzones within the existing block model,&#8221; <a href="https://www.collectivemining.com/investors/news-releases/index.php?content_id=264">said</a> Ari Sussman, Collective Mining's executive chairman.

The recent results come from eight diamond drill holes, with highlights including 220.6 meters grading 0.89 grams of gold per ton in hole APC98-D1. This hole also revealed 11 grams of silver and 0.04% copper, bringing the gold equivalent to 1.07 grams from a depth of 145.3 meters. Another notable result was a 32.2-meter section grading 1.86 grams of gold equivalent from 195.35 meters.
The Guayabales project is strategically located in the Marmato mining district, part of the Middle Cauca Belt, which is renowned for its rich history of gold and silver mining. The project is near existing infrastructure, including roads and hydroelectric power lines. Furthermore, nearby towns of Supia and Marmato supply skilled mining workforce, while the local government supports responsible mining practices.
Collective Mining&#8217;s 2024 objectives include expanding the Apollo system further north, extending the newly discovered Trap system, and exploring new targets such as Tower, X and Plutus.
The company remains committed to its intensive exploration program, which could transform Guayabales into a large-scale precious metal-rich camp that will grow in both metal endowment and production profile.

Collective Mining Strikes Gold With Drilling Results, Expands Guayabales Project

S&amp;P Dow Jones Indices <a href="http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/prestige-brands-holdings-set-to-join-the-sp-midcap-400-great-western-bancorp-to-join-sp-smallcap-600-300249609.html">announced</a> Monday afternoon that Prestige Brands Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/pbh#NYSE">PBH</a>) will replace Cleco Corporation (NYSE: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/cnl#NYSE">CNL</a>) in the S&amp;P MidCap 400 index.

	Cleco will be removed from the index after Wednesday&#39;s trading session, as Macquarie Infrastructure Partner&#39;s acquisition of the constituent will be completed on or around that date.

	The index manager also announced Great Western Bancorp Inc (NYSE: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/gwb#NYSE">GWB</a>) will replace Prestige Brands Holdings in the S&amp;P SmallCap 600 index.

Yahoo Moves Bid Deadline to April 18; Daily Mail Said to be in Talks for Yahoo Bid
The Rumor: Yahoo has extended the deadline for submitting bids to acquire the Internet company until April 18 from April 11, according to sources, reported by multiple media outlets on Friday. 
Yahoo is expecting bids from Verizon (NYSE: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/vz#NYSE">VZ</a>), Time, Inc. (NYSE: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/time#NYSE">TIME</a>) and private equity firms TPG and Bain, according to Bloomberg.
Japan's SoftBank (OTC: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/sftby#OTC">SFTBY</a>) is considering Yahoo's web business and Asian assets, including stakes in Yahoo Japan (OTC: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/yahoy#OTC">YAHOY</a>) and Alibaba (NYSE: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/baba#NYSE">BABA</a>), according to the NY Post. On Sunday, Dow Jones reported that the owner of the UK's Daily Mail newspaper is said to be in talks with private-equity firms regarding a potential bid for Yahoo.
Yahoo closed at $36.07 on Friday, down $0.10. 
Synergy Pharma Said to be Exploring Sale
The Rumor: Synergy Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/sgyp#NASDAQ">SGYP</a>) is considering a potential sale, according a source reported by Street Insider on Friday. Bloomberg reported in March of last year that the maker of irritable 
bowel syndrome and chronic idiopathic constipation treatment plecanatide, was speaking to advisors about options for the company, including a sale.
If the FDA approves plecanatide, Synergy plans to launch the drug with the CIC indication in Q1 of 2017.
Synergy Pharma closed at $3.18 on Friday, up 10%.
Westar Sees Interest from Ameren, Canadian Funds
The Rumor: Kansas' Westar Energy Inc. (NYSE: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/wr#NYSE">WR</a>) is said to have received takeover interest from rival Ameren Corp. (NYSE: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/aee#NYSE">AEE</a>) and from a consortium, including the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, according to sources as 
reported by Bloomberg on Friday. The sources say Westar is working with Guggenheim Partners to handle potential offers. 
There has been recent M&amp;A activity in the electric utility industry, including Macquarie's $3.4 billion buyout of Cleco (NYSE: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/cnl#NYSE">CNL</a>).

The sources say NXP has received interest from potential Chinese buyers and may ask as much as $2 billion for the unit.

Toward the end of trading Tuesday, the Dow traded up 0.57 percent to 17,635.68 while the NASDAQ gained 1.64 percent to 4,844.79. The S&amp;P also rose, gaining 0.83 percent to 2,053.89. 
Leading and Lagging Sectors
On Tuesday, technology shares gained by 1.61 percent. Meanwhile, top gainers in the sector included Himax Technologies, Inc. (ADR) (NASDAQ: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/himx#NASDAQ">HIMX</a>), up 13 percent, and PAR Technology Corporation (NYSE: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/par#NYSE">PAR</a>), up 9 percent.
In trading on Tuesday, energy shares rose by just 0.1 percent. Meanwhile, top losers in the sector included Diamond Offshore Drilling Inc (NYSE: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/do#NYSE">DO</a>), down 6 percent, and Denbury Resources Inc. (NYSE: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/dnr#NYSE">DNR</a>), down 5 percent.
Top Headline
 Lennar Corporation (NYSE: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/len#NYSE">LEN</a>) reported better-than-expected earnings for its fiscal first quarter on Tuesday.
Lennar reported quarterly earnings of $0.63 per share on revenue of $1.99 billion. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.52 per share on revenue of $1.86 billion.
Equities Trading UP 
 Keryx Biopharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/kerx#NASDAQ">KERX</a>) shares shot up 14 percent to $5.17 after the company announced positive top-line results from its pivotal Phase 3 study of ferric citrate for the treatment of iron deficiency anemia in adults with non-dialysis dependent chronic kidney disease.
Shares of Cleco Corporation (NYSE: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/cnl#NYSE">CNL</a>) got a boost, shooting up 13 percent to $55.19 after the company confirmed that the Louisiana Public Service Commission (LPSC) voted to approve a sale of the company.
 OHR Pharmaceutical Inc (NASDAQ: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/ohrp#NASDAQ">OHRP</a>) shares were also up, gaining 22 percent to $3.47. Shares of BioPharmX Corp (NYSE: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/bpmx#NYSE">BPMX</a>) were down 31 percent to $1.02 after the company announced the pricing of 3.6 million share common stock.
 Puma Biotechnology Inc (NYSE: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/pbyi#NYSE">PBYI</a>) was down, falling around 22 percent to $27.53 after the company issued an update to the timeline for the filing of a new drug application. Puma Biotechnology will submit the NDA for neratinib in mid-2016. According to a press release, the decision was based on the company's recent meetings with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

In commodity news, oil traded down 2.87 percent to $38.26, while gold traded up 1.55 percent to $1,241.00.

Midway through trading Tuesday, the Dow traded down 0.24 percent to 17,492.45 while the NASDAQ gained 0.17 percent to 4,774.98. The S&amp;P also fell, dropping 0.19 percent to 2,033.24. 
Leading and Lagging Sectors
On Tuesday, technology shares gained by 0.45 percent. Meanwhile, top gainers in the sector included Himax Technologies, Inc. (ADR) (NASDAQ: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/himx#NASDAQ">HIMX</a>), up 10 percent, and CIBER, Inc. (NYSE: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/cbr#NYSE">CBR</a>), up 6 percent.
In trading on Tuesday, energy shares dipped by 1.59 percent. Meanwhile, top losers in the sector included Seadrill Ltd (NYSE: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/sdrl#NYSE">SDRL</a>), down 10 percent, and W&amp;T Offshore, Inc. (NYSE: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/wti#NYSE">WTI</a>), down 10 percent.
Top Headline
 Lennar Corporation (NYSE: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/len#NYSE">LEN</a>) reported better-than-expected earnings for its fiscal first quarter on Tuesday.
Lennar reported quarterly earnings of $0.63 per share on revenue of $1.99 billion. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.52 per share on revenue of $1.86 billion.

 Keryx Biopharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/kerx#NASDAQ">KERX</a>) shares shot up 15 percent to $5.21 after the company announced positive top-line results from its pivotal Phase 3 study of ferric citrate for the treatment of iron deficiency anemia in adults with non-dialysis dependent chronic kidney disease.
Shares of Cleco Corporation (NYSE: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/cnl#NYSE">CNL</a>) got a boost, shooting up 13 percent to $55.21 after the company confirmed that the Louisiana Public Service Commission (LPSC) voted to approve a sale of the company.
 NQ Mobile Inc (ADR) (NYSE: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/nq#NYSE">NQ</a>) shares were also up, gaining 6 percent to $5.03 after the company announced it has entered into a new agreement with its Chairman and Chief Operating Officer to acquire 96 million shares of the company's stock.
