Key Safety Initiatives
As part of a comprehensive review of safety data, Sarepta is taking proactive steps to mitigate the risk of acute liver failure in non-ambulatory patients.
A panel will evaluate data and assess the company&#8217;s proposed regimen, which includes sirolimus and is supported by preclinical data demonstrating the effectiveness of additional immunosuppression in moderating liver enzyme elevations, a key factor in mitigating potential safety events.
Sarepta will share the panel&#8217;s recommendations with the U.S. Food &amp; Drug Administration (FDA), and implementation of any new regimen will be subject to FDA guidance and allowance.
In the meantime, Sarepta is temporarily suspending shipments of Elevidys for non-ambulatory patients.
For ambulatory patients, no treatment <a target="_blank" href="https://www.roche.com/investors/updates/inv-update-2025-06-15" rel="noreferrer noopener">changes</a> are being proposed and the current practice of administering corticosteroids before and after Elevidys infusion and post-treatment monitoring remains the same.

Fox Corp (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/FOX#NASDAQ">FOX</a>) (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/FOXA#NASDAQ">FOXA</a>) Fox Advertising on Monday <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/25/06/n45943816/fox-advertising-launches-enhanced-brand-storytelling-program-with-strategic-investment-in-the-ligh" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">announced a strategic investment</a> in The Lighthouse (part of the Whalar Group), the innovative studio and campus space explicitly designed for Creators to collaborate and develop content.
The financial terms of the deal remain undisclosed.
The investment will also support the launch of Fox&#8217;s new IP development initiative, which aims to fuel Creator-led franchises across its content portfolio.

The strategic investment will strengthen Fox&#8217;s commitment to Creator-powered innovation and content creation.
Unveiled at the&nbsp;Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, Fox, and The Lighthouse&#8217;s future-forward strategic relationship, together with the launch of Fox&#8217;s new IP development initiative, will bring together the art of storytelling, brand integration, and new media experiences and will allow advertisers to collaborate with Creators around brand sponsorships and advertising inventory tied to new properties, as well as access to a pipeline of Creator-led properties designed for maximum cultural relevance and creative impact.
Fox held $4.82 billion in <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/25/05/n45344835/fox-reports-third-quarter-fiscal-2025-revenues-of-4-37-billion-net-income-of-354-million-and-adjus" rel="noreferrer noopener">cash and equivalents</a> as of March 31, 2025.
Fox stock surged 59% in the last 12 months. The company reported <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/earnings/25/05/45350789/fox-q3-win-65-ad-surge-driven-by-super-bowl-tubi-growth" rel="noreferrer noopener">third-quarter revenue</a> of $4.37 billion, up from $3.45 billion a year ago, beating the&nbsp;analyst&nbsp;consensus estimate of $4.16 billion.&nbsp;
Adjusted net income was $507 million, or $1.10 per share, beating the&nbsp;analyst&nbsp;consensus estimate&nbsp;of&nbsp;$0.90.&nbsp;It was&nbsp;$520 million or $1.09 per share a year ago.
Price Action: FOXA stock is trading lower by 0.04% to $49.28 premarket at last check on Monday.

An Air India Boeing 787-8 en route to New Delhi from Hong Kong made an unexpected return to Hong Kong on Monday after an in-flight irregularity prompted safety concerns.
What Happened: Flight AI315 departed Hong Kong at around 12:20 p.m. local time and started climbing toward its cruising altitude. Reuters reports that at 22,000 feet, the crew identified a possible malfunction and decided to reverse course. It landed safely back at Hong Kong International Airport at approximately 1:15 PM.
Air India stated: "AI315 returned to Hong Kong shortly after take-off due to a technical issue. The flight landed safely … and is undergoing checks as a matter of abundant precaution."
According to the Airport Authority Hong Kong, the plane requested emergency standby shortly after takeoff. The Dreamliner involved in the incident is seven years old.

Air India Boeing 787-8 Returns To Hong Kong Mid-Flight Due To Technical Issue, Prompting Fresh Scrutiny Of Airline's Safety Protocols

Stellantis NV (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/STLA#NYSE">STLA</a>) has begun trials for battery swapping technology in the Fiat 500e all-electric hatchback, which could offer a fully-charged battery in 5 minutes.
What Happened: The company, which owns various brands like Jeep, Chrysler, Fiat, Peugeot and more, is conducting test runs for the technology in the Spanish capital Madrid with a fleet of 40 vehicles, Autocar reported <a href="https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/technology/fiat-trialling-tech-fully-charges-500e-just-five-minutes">on</a> Friday.
The 500e fleet belongs to Fiat's Free2Move fleet, while the battery swapping trial is being undertaken in collaboration with battery swapping company Ample, the report said.
"We are dedicated to thoroughly testing and analysing this concept in real-world conditions and aiming to expand it to private customers soon," Fiat CEO Olivier François said, hinting that it could be offered to owners if the trial goes well.
Why It Matters: The news comes in as Stellantis has been making moves in the sector, with the company having recently shared that the Dodge Charger EV in 2026 will be powered by <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/tech/25/04/45061846/stellantis-announces-breakthrough-solid-state-battery-with-factorial-energy-company-says-technology-will-debut-in-2026-demo-fleet">a solid-state battery</a>.
The U.S. auto industry is struggling with supply chain issues as well as curbs on rare earth minerals and <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/politics/25/06/45854131/trump-says-hes-getting-good-reports-as-scott-bessent-led-delegation-expects-beijing-to-remove-rare-earth-export-curbs">magnets imposed by China</a>. However, U.S. President Donald Trump had shared that a deal has been approved pending Xi Jinping's decision.
Amid the trade tensions, Trump had also highlighted that he may <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/tech/25/06/45919154/trump-says-he-may-hike-auto-tariffs-again-to-boost-domestic-production-the-higher-you-go-they-build-a-plant-here">hike the tariffs </a>on the automotive industry to boost domestic production. "I might go up with that tariff in the not too distant future. The higher you go, the more likely it is they build a plant here," Trump said.

Stellantis Trials New 5-Minute Battery Swapping Tech In Fiat 500e Fleet: Report

U.S. professional services firms run by lawyers and accountants are joining forces to resist a tax provision included in President Donald Trump's <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/25/05/45582778/trumps-big-beautiful-bill-passes-house-what-it-means-for-taxes-student-loans-medicaid-and-more">One Big Beautiful Bill Act</a>.

Introduced by states after Trump's 2017 tax law capped state and local tax (SALT) deductions at $10,000, the workaround allowed firms to pay state taxes at the entity level, thus lowering partners&#8217; federal tax liabilities.
While the House version of the bill increases the SALT cap to $40,000, it also blocks professional services partnerships, including those in law, accounting, consulting, medicine and dentistry from using the workaround. Other businesses would remain eligible under the proposed measure.
"It's targeted and it's ugly," said Melanie Lauridsen of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), which is mobilizing accountants throughout the country. "It's complicated and it's buried in there. We were aware of it first and faster."
Meanwhile, the American Bar Association labelled the measure "fundamentally unfair," arguing it punishes small law firms and solo practitioners, who comprise more than 75% of the legal workforce.

Why It Matters: If passed as is, professional firms would be stripped of a key tax relief mechanism, costing the sector an estimated $73 billion over the next ten years. The restriction applies only to "specified service trades or businesses," widening the divide between professions like law and accounting and other partnership-based industries.
ABA president Bill Bay said the provision would "further widen the tax parity gap," despite the significant economic role professional services firms play.
The One Big Beautiful Bill Act is also facing heat for <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/politics/25/06/45833008/trumps-big-beautiful-bill-triggers-corporate-lobbying-blitz-in-washington-as-70-firms-push-to-kill-section-899-report">section 899</a>, which targets countries imposing taxes the Trump administration views as discriminatory toward American companies. Experts warn that this could lead to a loss of foreign investment and erode confidence.
According to an analysis by the Congressional Budget Office, the bill <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/politics/25/06/45919604/trumps-big-beautiful-bill-pulls-1600-from-poorest-adds-12000-for-richest-annually-shows-cbo-analysis">depletes the household resources of America's poorest by about $1,600</a> while the wealthiest households gain approximately $12,000.

Trump's 'Big, Beautiful Bill' Could Cost Professional Firms $73 Billion, Lawyers And Accountants Join Forces To Resist

Parsons Corporation (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/PSN#NYSE">PSN</a>) announced today that the company was awarded a $169.5 million single award contract by the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Norfolk District to provide design-build delivery services for a new Ammonium Nitrate Solution (ANSol) Tank Farm at Holston Army Ammunition Plant (HSAAP). The four-year contract is new work for the company.
Under this contract, Parsons will provide integrated delivery services for the ANSol tank farm, enabling the HSAAP to increase storage requirements for ANSol, a byproduct of the explosives manufacturing process. The new tank farm will replace HSAAP's existing storage tanks to support expanded manufacturing at the Government Owned Contractor Operated facility.
